Loved our stay at Couch Potato. It felt very homely, laid back, functional, informative and just a great place to hang out. We had a go on the free bikes, went to a couple of the restaurants and sentos that were recommended, played some card games, enjoyed the laid back music in the lounge. Fabulous place.

We stayed in a private room for one night and we could not think about a thing which would not meet our expectation. I wish we could stay longer. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the hostel is beautifully designed and fully equipped. Also the location is excelent, close to the station and the castle. We will definitely come back if we are again in Matsumoto.
