Old Town Pylimo apartment by Urban Rent

The apartment is nicely renovated, quite spacious and has all you might need for your stay: equipped kitchen(ette), laundry, etc.

There was quite a horrible smell (of cigarettes?) at the apartment. We tried to keep all the windows open to get rid of it... Also please clean the lamp shade above the bed - all the bugs trapped there is an unpleasant sight.

It's a very stylish apartment with a small private terrace. It is well equipped (washing machine, dishwasher, iron, etc.), the bed is very comfortable, fast and stable Wi-Fi, windows are facing quiet yard (and there are 4 adorable friendly cats who will gladly offer you their company while you are sitting on the terrace!:)). We loved the location too: the train/bus station is several hundred meters away, there are cool bars/cafes just around the corner and Hales Turgus is literally next door! After our stay we thought that we left our laptop charger in the apartment and the host together with the cleaning person were doing their best trying to find it (and they even promised to post it to us!). After a while we found out that we left it somewhere else, however host's help was much appreciated!

The parking is in the yard which is closed, but you need to keep in mind that parking space is not guaranteed. If you are coming during the day (till 17:00), there will be places available for sure, but if you arrive in the evening, it can happen that no parking is available inside. Another thing you need to know - sound isolation between the flats is quite poor. Surprisingly it didn't cause us any trouble: people who live above go to bed early and are not noisy (you can hear them just walking). But the day we arrived there were more people there (I don't know, maybe the person above lives alone and someone was visiting him/her) and we heard every single word of conversation (man who was on his phone, we know all your plans!:D). So it is a bit disturbing to know that your sleep completely depends on your neighbours - their lifestyle, activities (even their mood:)). But as everything was fine during our 5 days stay here, we would use this apartment in the future! p.s. The light above kitchen unit is not working - please, fix it.

Location. Pretty clean.

Worn off apartment. Sofa bed - not comfortable to sleep. Not enough needed amenities. Check out time was 11:00, but the cleaning lady was calling at the door 10:55. Not a good apartment regarding the value.
