Sit on the deck and watch the river and wildlife (there is a baldheaded eagles nest nearby, lots of dear, beaver, river otter, etc.) At sunrise the sky and river have a fantastic salmon-pink hue.

Enjoyed the stay. Stuart was a great host. Loved the amenities and being right in the lake. The porch was wonderful in the morning for coffee. So many things to do nearby. The canal path was perfect for a stroll along the river Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Coming in from NY, this homestead was a perfect home for lengthy discussions and reflections. The home was emaculate and comfortable. Stewart, the host, was very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely follow up with a return visit.

Communication was great! It was quiet location, end of lane. We stayed in heat of summer but I bet the fall and winter are beautiful. Place could use some updating. Window a/c’s were quite loud.
