Beautifully renovated old villa (mansion) in the middle of Figeac. Room was spacious and cool. Excellent shower and toilet. Lovely breakfast in grand breakfast room. Easy access to bars and restaurants. Very enjoyable night on the via Podiensis

Pamper yourself in Figeac.

A Knight’s Home being restored as a small Boutique Hotel. Our room was a full one bedroom apartment with full kitchen, nice bedroom, with great privacy. The library and breakfast dining hall are gorgeous. Pampered ourselves staying here. Breakfast was also very nice and fresh.

Magic in Medieval Figeac. History and 21st century comfort meet harmoniously. Superb.

Everything was wonderful. We indulged ourselves in taking the loft. Wow. Stunning! So glad we did. Two of us didn’t need the space but we loved it. In summary - Fabulous, quiet location in the old Centre, excellent communication (starting from before our stay), warm welcome, assistance with luggage and parking upon arrival, lifts to make hauling our suitcases easy, superb styling enhancing the careful restoration of an enchanting historic property, laundry done for us (!) small touches throughout the house and charm and space in abundance. Genuinely friendly and personable host/staff. Very comfortable indeed. Superb breakfast in a palace like setting. Thank you! ‘Twas a privilege to stay!

Nothing significant beyond having to park a distance away…completely understandable being beautifully located in the historic old town of magical Figeac. ( I’m not completely sure about this but I don’t think there is Netflix etc on the TV… didn’t matter as we were enjoying our surroundings too much to notice!). Also, there is only one bathroom in the enormous loft - not an issue for us but worth noting if you are traveling with others. Not suitable for those who can’t manage steps.

Lovely historic building in the centre of a fascinating medieval town.

The ancient building which had been beautifully restored and the location in the centre of Figeac. The breakfast was delicious and a great restaurant, Safran, was recommended for our dinner. The room was comfortable and spotless.

Perhaps a clear warning about trying to drive to the door and advise on where to park. The roads were so narrow we just squeezed through!

A highlight of our trip to France

A charming 14C restored property in central old town area. Accommodation elegant, comfortable and well equipped. Decor superb. A delicious and very ample breakfast in grand living/dining room. We were welcomed by such a charming host who helped us with taxi reservations and other travel requirements. The whole experience will be very memorable and we would highly recommend this place.

Sublime stay - magical property, beautiful rooms, gracious hosts

Stunningly beautiful medieval mansion, beautifully decorated in a marriage of restraint and history. Very convenient location to restaurants and historic area, easy parking. The owner is so delightful. Breakfast was wonderful. The beds were extremely comfortable and the sheets were linen - which we've never seen in other places and which we love. We had two adjoining rooms, each with their own doors for privacy, with a shared bathroom in between. The layout was very comfortable for all. We appreciated coffee and tea makers in the rooms. There is even a small elevator tucked away, helpful for bringing in luggage. We would give it a 15 rating if we could! We look forward to visiting again.

We felt like the Earl and Countess of Figeac!

It's a freaking medieval castle! We felt like Lord and Lady staying in such a beautiful place. It's smack bang in the centre, parking is free and really close. Elisia was very welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was lovely.

Be prepared for creaky floors, but that's what you get for staying in a medieval building! Would have like to have had more time here to be able to test the jacuzzi!

We loved everything about this property! It is a beautiful, historic building right in the heart of Figeac. We stayed in the loft room which was stylishly decorated and incredibly spacious with a large terrace and two smaller terraces with views over the rooftops. Central but very quiet. The host is so charming! she was incredibly helpful and gave us good advice and helped book restaurants and prepared a delicious breakfast. One of the nicest places we’ve stayed at!
