My favorite boutique hotel in Bali I will book again and again!

I loved my stay at Amantrana. The room and hotel itself were beautiful, peaceful, calm. I always felt safe as a solo female traveler and the staff were so helpful with literally anything I needed from express laundry to phone chargers to salon recommendations. I booked the balcony room, high quality design with beautiful furniture. The bathroom and wet room set up was gorgeous, and always kept extremely clean and hygienic.

Good value but needs some TLC

We have been staying here since Covid times. The hotel is well located and the staff are friendly. The pool is good downstairs but I would say that the owners need to spend a little bit of money on upkeep as the rooms are starting to look tired

The rooms are starting to look a bit tired with all the hard water coming out of the pipes in Bali. Stains etc. Need to be deep cleaned and some equipment needs to be replaced such as showerhead which are a bit green. The bathroom also doesn’t have a great smell to it.

Brilliant place to base for a fun Canggu stay.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. Location was central and not far from the main areas. Rooms were presented well with fun, outdoor showers. They even decorated our bed with rose petals for our Anniversary. Really enjoyed our time there! The pool is also stunning with the balcony overlooking rice fields.

Lovely hotel and staff

The room was very comfortable, spacious and cleaned every day. The staff were really lovely and it was great value for money. Everything was nearby via bike.

there is building works right opposite which were extremely noisy every single day from 8am to roughly 9pm. The water stopped working mid shower, the staff were quick to fix this and apologetic. Not a good location if you want to walk, but then again, there isn’t any paths!

IT IS A SCAM. AVOID.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

AVOID. This was one of the worst experiences of my life anywhere in the world. We had booked a so-called suite. However, this was a PRISON. The suite has a shared living room with the guests from another room. This was the first for me where a guest from another room has an access to the living room of the suite. They do say "sharing" in their description but easily missed as they do not mention that it is shared with other guest. IT IS VERY MISLEADING. Therefore, you can leave the door of your room open because the shared living is shared. The other door, which is the entrance to the room, as well as the glass windows cannot remain open either as it faces the public pool. So, you are essentially in a prison from all the sides where you cannot see anything outside if you would like to maintain some privacy. If you were to leave the door facing the living room, people from other room could easily see inside your room. If you were to leave the curtain of the window and the entrance door open, people from the public pool have the entire view of your room. NO PRIVACY IN A SUITE. You are paying a premium for the suite, but you end up getting a prison which is smaller than the regular room of the hotel. THIS WAS COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS TO SAY THE LEAST. They did offer us to change the room but it was too late and too much of an inconvenience. It was completely unacceptable. Eventually, we did not have any choice but to stay in a prison for two days. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS. There are far better options in the area.

We absolutely loved this boutique hotel. Small and quaint, with everything we needed. The room was spotless upon arrival and serviced promptly everyday. Breakfast was delicious and made to order. The overall setting was lovely - beautiful gardens and pool. Friendly staff who were more than happy to help when needed. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately for the hotel, there were construction works behind the property. The sound didn’t bother us and the hotel were fully transparent about the works prior to our arrival, giving us ample opportunity to cancel if needed. We are so glad we didn’t! A lovely stay!

Amazing hotel, amazing service and amazing hotel staff who are so humble and kind!

Everything was perfect at this hotel, the staff are AMAZING. They went over and beyond to ensure that my stay was pleasant, I had so many questions about booking tours and where to travel to in Bali and the hotel staff were incredible and so attentive, they were very responsive and immediate in their action. The facilities at the hotel are great, they provide free water and also helped me when I had mosquito bites from my travel to Ubud. The location was perfect too.

Peaceful stay

The ambiance is amazing. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and welcomed. The entire structure of the hotel is unique and beautiful.

The first bedroom we were put in was very humid, you could smell it in the air. My boyfriend has allergies and he woke up feeling ill and very congested so we asked to change rooms. They were super prompt to help us even though the hotel was pretty much fully booked, so that was nice.

Beautiful and spacious room! The breakfast is excellent. The hotel offers sustainable products such as tooth brush and paste or slippers made out of old car tires. Motor bike can be rented right at the reception. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

It is not a 10 because of the following: we booked a room with balcony and view on rice terraces, however construction work is in progress right in the rice terraces (October 2023) next to the hotel. Therefore, there is construction noise starting from 8am and the view is also negatively impacted and not as presented in the hotel‘s photo selection here on booking.com

Cozy hotel with delicious breakfast

The staff was super friendly and helpful, the room was really nice and clean, loved the outdoor bathroom and the fact that the hotel is eco friendly. The break was delicious 10/10. The location is a pretty decent distance from the center. You can easily grab a moto taxi and be there in less than 10minutes.

The pillows were too soft and this make them really uncomfortable. Would be good if they have different kinds of pillows.

Great stay

Great location in a quiet street. The pool was lush and overlooked some rice paddies and it was never crowded - often we were the only ones there. The Indonesian breakfast was delicious and hearty. The staff were so lovely too. The room is spacious and the outdoor bathroom is a beautiful experience! I would certainly stay here again!

We had an absolute wonderful stay at AmantraNa.

Clean facilities. Very comfortable and cozy. Kind, helpful, and attentive staff. We had everything we needed in the room, and the staff was able to accommodate anything else. Private room is just as beautiful as the lobby. Amazing breakfast every morning. View of the rice fields in the back is breathtaking at sunset. Great location in Canggu.

Mosquitos will get into the room, so definitely need to wear bug spray at night.

Beautiful view of the rice terraces from the pool and balcony.

Room key needed to keep AC on.....so it takes a long time to cool the room down. The room could have been cleaner (ex. dust on many surfaces). Breakfast was just ok.....they should have more options (i.e. smoothie bowls since Bali is famous for them). Also, the coffee was not very good.

The view from from our balcony was stunning. This property has spacious swimming pool and parking area to share with other guest. Staff was very hospitable, responsive and there for every need of mine. They helped me to find express laundry which is very beneficial for working mom like me. Our room was lovely, beautiful views from the balcony of the rice fields and the decor throughout the hotel was modern. Pool was clean, great temperature and very picturesque! Staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble - thank you all!
