Gulf View Cottage #3 is a delightful, tastefully decorated getaway in beautiful Bradenton Beach. Inside, prepare anything from your morning coffee to full-course dinners in the well-equipped, full kitchen. This home also features outdoor seating and even a table with an umbrella for al fresco dining or just to sit back and catch the sunset.
Enjoy breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico right outside your front door. Walk across the road to hit the beach, or head down to Coquina Public Beach, just a quarter-mile away. For shopping and dining, scenic Bridge Street is only a half-mile north. Take a trip up to Bradenton Beach via the free Anna Maria Island Trolley and then cross the bridge to discover additional restaurants and shops over in the historic fishing village of Cortez, all about a mile-and-a-half away. This vacation rental is also just a short drive from St. Armands Circle and downtown Sarasota for additional shopping, dining, and entertainment options.

We will not be accepting payments for pool heat for the months of May through October.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The location and most of the property is fantastic. Took my wife and 3 month old twin girls for our second wedding anniversary. The location across the street from the beach and walking distance to coquina and bridge Street were great. The kitchen and the few furniture pieces are extremely old and need replaced. The property also states there is a gas grill and there is none on the property if you plan on cooking a few meals. The kitchen is just run down and did not feel comfortable cooking in it. We also had the code for the door changed on us on the 3rd day which was a bit scary as we were trying to get our twins out of the heat. Support did get us in after a bit of phone tag . Only other thing the dryer will burn and mark up clothes even on delicate low heat cycles. Few of my wife's clothes were destroyed. Having said all that we still enjoyed our stay at this unit and if you are looking for something affordable close to coquina you can't go wrong. Just plan accordingly till they get some updates done to it.

We were unable to reach the rental unit on our first night due to an island closure and Vacasa refused to give us a refund. Offered another night rental within 30 days but since we are from out of state that was not an option for us.
Also, when we were able to gain access to the property the next day, there were a couple things I texted Vacasa about and although they answered the texts immediately with "someone will get back to you", they never got back to us at all. Not a good way to run a business.
Regarding the unit itself, location was fabulous and it was very cute and clean although slightly outdated, but had everything you would need except the TV was not working properly.
We loved the place and would love to go back, but not as long as it is being managed by Vacasa.
