Overall, had a great time with family! House could use some minor updates and would have been nice to have a tv in the kids room and master but the owner did communicate that their wasn’t one provided when I asked ahead of time. Hot tub cover was super hard to manage but we enjoyed it nonetheless. No garage, super close walk to the river. Thanks!

It was hard for me to rate this house as it has some great qualities and some not so great ones. The location of the house was perfect - close to everything. I came for a short get-away with my husband, our 2 teenage boys and 2 of their friends to go skiing. The house had plenty of rooms/beds for the 6 of us. The hot tub was a plus and got a lot of use over the 5 days we were there. Those were some of the good qualities. The cons were the place is dark. The lighting in the house is not adequate. It felt like being in a dungeon most of the time. The cookware/dishware (pots, pans, dishes, etc.) are old and gross. The pans looked like they're 30 years old have been through a fire. There were plenty of dishes and bowls but not enough cups - I ended up buying plastics cups to use. If you enjoy cooking, this is not the house for you. The owner was gracious enough to let us check in early as my husband needed to be on a conference call - that was a plus. The house was clean but dusty. The cleaning staff didn't leave us any soap. I had to buy hand and dish soap. Not a deal breaker but still not ok. Overall, I would not rate this a 5 star house as the other reviewers have - it's more like a 3 star house. I'm not trying to be nitpicky or snobby but I went off of the reviews on this house and I'm just being honest.
