The place was absolutely lovely, little bits for breakfast was supplied and a lovely coffee machine which is a lovely touch. Everything was spotless and the air con was brilliant. Lovely place out the front to enjoy a drink in the evening. Washing machine available with softener if you need to do some washing which I found so helpful!

Positano is full of steps as it is but this house is right at the top of Positano, outside of the town really. Wouldn’t recommend for an older couple unless you want to get a taxi home every night (about €30/€35). We had an awful trek on the way home each night but I guess that comes hand in hand with visiting Positano!

The air-conditioning in the bedroom was greatly appreciated! The washing machine was helpful and the place was very clean. The property owner met us personally to handover the keys.

The pool! The whole reason we booked this place was for the pool and we couldn’t even relax by it! Upon arriving down the one million stairs to the pool, we were told we needed to wash our feet and have a shower before using the pool. AND we had to wear a swimming cap at all times AND pay for it AND we weren’t allowed to bring any food or drink to the pool area (besides water). There also weren’t any extra towels available so we had to use one towel for the pool and one for the shower (we shared the same towel for 4 days).
