Beautiful balcony view and good service from the host

We often had to sweep the balcony as the gutters were full of leaves (we think?) dropping stuff down. The couch was full of dust and we weren’t told until we got to the pool that we had to purchase swimming caps to be allowed to use the pool which was very disappointing. We went all the way down lots of steps with no cash in hand only to have to go back to our room. Considering the price of the apartment, this should be included.

Staff were attentive and helpful and available at any time for requests and questions. They also offered transport and booked us transport during our stay. Amazing view from balcony and apartment was very clean. We also made use of the pool.

If we stayed again we would probably stay a bit closer to the bottom only because travelling with small children and a pram can be difficult with all the stairs in Positano!

We stayed here for 3 nights as a family of four (2 adults and 2 adult children). Access to the property was challenging, with more than 1,000 steep steps required to reach it. The only alternative was to pay €40 each time we traveled to or from the apartment. There is a bus stop nearby, but the bus was consistently crowded, so we often had to choose between using the steps or taking a taxi. In the summer heat, this made getting to and from the apartment difficult. The apartment itself was not very clean, and the bathroom was very small. The toilet flush did not work properly. Although we contacted the host, who came to repair it, the issue continued during our stay. The shower also had a slimy texture and a musky smell, which was unpleasant. The shower had either ice cold water or very hot water which made showering a bit challenging. The host was nice and provided us with recommendations on activities, beach clubs, and dining. There were also very few dining options nearby, with only one restaurant close to the property. Overall, the apartment did not meet our expectations and was not well suited to our family.
