My husband and I spent 4 nights at the end of September - perfect weather (70s day/60s night). It is very clean and beautifully decorated in a quiet neighborhood of Positano. The bed was super comfy with the focal point being the large outdoor patio which overlooks hillside villas and the vast Mediterranean - spectacular views during the day and lit up at night! 5 min walk down steps to reach a convenient store, bar and restaurant (local hang outs). Another 10 min to reach the heart of Positano (very loud and ptouristy) with shops, restaurants and beach/ferry. It is a bit of a workout on the trip back but is worth the adventure.
Stefania is the BEST host we have ever had! She reached out right away and arranged drivers to/from airport and private tours of the Amalfi Coast as well as dinner reservations. Private drivers prefer to be paid in Euros. She is so gracious and provided tea, coffee, breakfast items and even a bottle of Prosecco!
Be sure to hike The Path of the Gods - it’s rigorous but there is nothing like it! We took a taxi to Nocelle (much closer than Bomerano) then hiked an out and back. Plus the ride to Nocelle is like a rollercoaster ride - super fun!! Visit “Earth Trekkers” website for the best step by step description and tips. We highly recommend Casa Carola if you are looking for sea views and prefer not to stay in the congested touristy part of Positano. Thank you Stefania for helping to make this a wonderful visit to Positano : )

This was truly a dream come true. We wanted to experience what it was like to actually live here and it was better than we imagined. Million dollar views, fabulous balcony and a wonderful host who is very responsive and helped us with everything we needed including learning the local bus system which was super easy to get up and down the hill. The apartment is beautifully decorated and was full of live house plants and flowers. You won't regret staying here.

We loved everything!! Stefania went above and beyond in making dinner reservations, a tour of Amalfi coast by boat, and having the best driver ever get us from the airport and to train station. The special touches of the snacks, ribbons around towels and accute attention to detail was superb, not to mention the location and the view! Off the chain!! Don’t scroll any longer …book this place now!!
