About this house rental
This remodeled and highly upgraded Great Room, Montego Model with separate Casita is located in the newest section of this 55+ guard-gated community and can accommodate 4 (main house 2 bdrms 2 ba) to 6 people (Casita 1 bdrm 1 ba). The home can be rented only by the month with or without the Casita. To avoid confusion, the Casita is an additional $300 per month and will be added at booking time. A lease is required by the community HOA and the lessor must be 55+. Higher seasonal pricing from October through April will apply.*
This exceptional home is on a corner lot with a gated courtyard entry and the interior has been professionally redecorated by Cheryl Manbeck Assoc. The Great Room includes fireplace seating, computer desk, entertainment and dining areas. High speed internet and WiFi are included. All TV's have free Netflix & Amazon Prime; a 75" HDTV in the entertainment area and flat screen TV's in all bedrooms, including Casita. A completely well-equipped kitchen enables eating at home and local stores are convenient for shopping. Laundry room with washer and dryer leads to private two-car garage. The outdoor patio boasts a BBQ and patio furniture with new umbrellas and cushions. The extended Master Bedroom has a King Bed, sofa seating area and access to the patio area. The Master bath has a dual sink vanity, large walk in shower and huge walk in closet. The second bedroom is located on the opposite side of the home for privacy and has a queen bed, closet and full bath. There is a private entrance to the Casita which has one bedroom with twin beds, a full bath and closet and desk area.
For access to all amenities, registration with the HOA, including ID and picture is required and is $25.00 per person. Sun City, Palm Desert is one of the most active senior communities in Southern California and is an independent living environment where you can flourish. The diversity of activities available include golf courses, swimming, water aerobics, tennis, pickleball, paddle tennis, fishing, putting, biking, walking, travel, dancing and more.

This was our 2nd stay at house on Blake Drive. We spent 4 months here at our "home away from home". The house has everything required for a long term stay. We did have one problem with dishwasher and the owner and staff had it handled immediately. That was the only issue we had over our 4 month stay. We had a wonderful stay in Sun City with so many options right in the community. We are golfers and enjoyed the 2 beautiful golf courses 3-4 times a week. Look forward to returning in the future.

My husband and I stayed at this home for 3 months in 2024. The House was great and the few issues we had Eddie the maintenance guy handled it quickly. He was great!

Sam and Michelle were great hosts. A couple of minor issues were replied to quickly and handled efficiently. The house has everything we needed for our snowbird get away from winter. The Sun City neighborhood has everything you need from 2 great golf courses which have the best prices in the Valley. Three recreation centres with pools, hot tubs, excercise facilities and more. This was a great vacation home for my husband and I plus there is an extra bedroom if you have visitors. Thanks again to Sam and Michelle for renting us the house and we have already booked a second stay. Sharon and Bob

We have stayed in Sun City Palm Desert many times. There are many amenities offered in Sun City (many of which we have not used). This property was comfortable and convenient. Spent a lot of time on the back patio which had comfortable patio furniture. Casita was very useful when we had overnight guests. We made ourselves right at home!!
