A one night stay as close to the beach as we could be!

The caravan is in a perfect location, right across the road from the dunes leading to the beach. Check in was incredibly easy, details provided exactly. The door into the caravan was stuck and I hurt my wrist trying to open it so that wasn’t the best start! Walking into the caravan, it was very homely, nice bedrooms, Nice kitchen area. Bathroom was totally unsuitable for us as the pictures didn’t really show how high up You have to step up to get into the shower and my mum has severe mobility issues so it meant that she couldn’t have a shower until she got home safely. The sofa has a very strange wooden edge which digs into your legs when you sit down. Rather than chairs, they seem to be for small coffee tables to sit on which are incredibly uncomfortable, meaning that it wasn’t exactly a relaxing experience but we were only staying for one night so for us it was absolutely fine. The bed in the master bedroom is very uncomfortable and the mattress definitely needs changing because it felt like sleeping on a pile of rocks. However, it was a nice big room and we did like the quirk of it bizarrely having a sink in the bedroom! We definitely wouldn’t book this particular caravan again purely because it was not comfortable or safe for our needs. But it is in a fantastic location, very easy to find and except for the kitchen area, it was very clean.

Small wooden tables instead of stools or chairs made sitting for a meal very uncomfortable and sitting round the table to play a game out of the question! Bed terribly uncomfortable. Sofa felt like it was made of wood at the front and dug into your legs. A very high step up into the shower made it impossible for one of our party to actually take a shower safely, had we have realised that when booking we wouldn’t have booked this particular Caravan. The door gets stuck and you really do jar your wrist trying to open it !

Great place!

We got last min availability on this stay, for 1 night. we were pleased with it. The van itself is very easy to locate if you park as you immediately drive into the park before the barriers.check in was easy and hassle free. We were able to park at the site before the caravan was ready for us, and take the walk down the main rd to the beach. I'd say it is more of a 10-15 min walk rather than the 3 noted, but easily doable, even with little ones as the path is wide and safe. The beach nearby is lovely, dog friendly, and there is a cafe. The van itself was clean and comfortable, beds ready to add our bedding on arrival. TV was good, we watched a movie. Shower is lovely and powerful, sofa isn't particularly comfortable but we were travelling with 14 year old twins who are adult sized! The site is quiet, and very friendly. We travelled 14 miles to Louth to have dinner at a wether spoons, nice drive and easy to find. Overall we would definitely stay here again for a short break, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Don't judge a book by its cover!!

The was greasy hand and finger marks all over the front of the cooker the toaster the microwave. Carpet in lounge stained sofa stained bits and crumbs in middle of sofa cushions and sweet papers electric fire in lounge not working electric towel rail in bathroom not working. 2 large cracks across the lounge ceiling ceiling bubbled up in corner due to damp damp brown stain at top of Bath room wall next to ceiling. Light bulb missing in lounge light bulb missing in kitchen and light bulb missing over vanity in bedroom. One of the caravan doors is jammed at the bottom when you try to open it. Pillow,s like concrete no sleep. Arrived at 2 on the Saturday left at 9 am on the Sunday did not even stay 24 hour. Could not wait to leave the caravan looks nice from out side its once inside you get to see the reality of it. One single bed missing a headboard. Wardrobe in double bedroom doors and drawers bubbling due to damp.

Lovely caravan, perfect for a quick getaway.

Lovely caravan, well equipped. Was really helpful having the highchair for the little one. Sofa was very comfy, loads of storage in the bedroom. Kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Loved the really deep shower tray to bath the little one.

TV signal was bit intermittent b it that’s to be expected with the location on the coast

The property was so homely. Ideal for what we needed for a weekend stay at the seaside. We booked last minute and nothing was too much trouble to sort for us. Location is great on the front, short walk to main centre. Park is lovely and quiet and parking was ideal

L17 caravan

Loved the location of this caravan and where it was situated in the park just near the entrance.on a Very friendly site. Caravan was well equipped with everything you need for your stay we were a family of 4 adults and it was adequately big enough. We only stayed one night but towels were not provided not sure if this was just for our stay or if not something offered generally but we were told and packed some in advance. Bedding was clean and well presented.

This caravan on first arrival is welcoming and homely, but after a while it's very obvious it's an old caravan. There is obvious wear and tear and a few things that could do with attention inside and out but it's a rental and it's to be expected.

The caravan was perfect, there was everything that you needed and in the bathroom there was ample space which was great. I loved the outside space and it was nice to sit there in the morning sun with a cup of coffee. We will definitely be booking up again next year as we both loved our holiday and the beach was close too which was a bonus.
