The reception staff lady was very welcoming, the location was great and the breakfast was very varied including a very acceptable hot breakfast.
The only disappointment was that we were apparently upgraded to an apartment that catered for more than 2 people and this was very modern. I would have preferred to stay in the deluxe suite that I had chosen as we wanted the more traditional high ceiling ambience. Maybe an option for an earlier breakfast as some of the trips we postponed as they started at 8.30am and we couldn't have managed to get breakfast and be there.

David at reception was very knowledgeable and gave us a heads up of the ongoing roadworks near property before we travelled allowing us to plan journey.

Staff were all lovely and very helpful.
The apartment is nicely laid out, the bed was comfortable and there were nice touches like a filter water tap in the kitchen. We didn’t cook but it seemed to have a decent set up.
The reception is 2 doors down from the apartment block and had a games area, bar and the breakfast amenities. Breakfast was good ( buffet with decent cooked food options as well).
The location was great lots of nice places to eat, reasonably quiet, but a short walk to most places. About 15mins walk to the nearest metro. Overall a great stay.

The actual room we stayed in was lovely but so many changes to reception, bar areas breakfast service & staff since we stayed last year, & not for the better
We stayed last year & even though the hotel was opposite the hostel part of the accommodation it still felt more of a hotel than a hostel. On our return visit this year you could see the changes straight away the bar area is now reception/ limited bar the reception area was a hostel meeting area. The breakfast last year was presented nicely this year you had to chose what you wanted from a sheet & order at the kitchen area. To be fair if you hadn’t had the amazing staff & sevice last year maybe it would be ok but I just don’t think the luxury hotel & hostel work too well together, such a shame
