The owner was very helpful & kind. Also very informative: had a detailed map full of info on Oporto. Ideal for first-timers to the city. A welcome bag of goodies in the room, plus a cold beer in the fridge!! a nice personal touch. Breakfast was in the Cafe next door. With the locals. A selection of pastries etc (with a coupon). Something different. Pension was very quiet. Also a small lounge area for guests. Away from touristy areas, but walkable to most sites.
Not a big issue. A good 10 minute walk from metro.

Excellent accommodation - small but everything you need. very central to city centre. Our host Ricardo was incredible! He spent plenty of time giving us invaluable information which enhanced our visit.
