Clean, quiet, great location

A very nice place, very well located (between the town centre and the university, which was perfect for our visit). Everything in the flat was in good order. What stood out most, however, was our host(s): very friendly and helpful, Ricardo (and Ashley) provided not only plentiful advice, but also several freebies upon our arrival and throughout our stay (drinks, cheese, wonderful desserts from the bakery downstairs)! The system with (essentially all-day) breakfast provided from the bakery downstairs was great and very convenient.

The room was on the fourth floor, so several flights of stairs up and down every time. However, we knew upon booking that there was no elevator. Nothing else!

The owner was very helpful & kind. Also very informative: had a detailed map full of info on Oporto. Ideal for first-timers to the city. A welcome bag of goodies in the room, plus a cold beer in the fridge!! a nice personal touch. Breakfast was in the Cafe next door. With the locals. A selection of pastries etc (with a coupon). Something different. Pension was very quiet. Also a small lounge area for guests. Away from touristy areas, but walkable to most sites.

Not a big issue. A good 10 minute walk from metro.

Great location. Very clean. A lovely welcome pack from Ricardo and his wife on arrival ☺️ thank you! Excellent stay, we would definitely recommend this property to family and friends if visiting Porto, or if we visited again sometime 😉
