It was difficult to get anything dry because of the humidity, but that comes with being in the middle of a forest

The property is in an amazing location with beautiful views of the Madeira countryside.

Everything is kind of far away, but the peace of the property made the drive worth it for us.

Amazing experience to be able to stay in the heart of the Laurissilva forest. The location is remote enough to enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings and watch the stars at night! We stayed in the highest cabin and it was very modern and well-equipped (and exceptionally clean). Be mindful that you need to drive through the forest for about 7-10 minutes after leaving the main road to get to the place. We enjoyed the waterfall on premise and did the PR21 and PR22 hikes. It was a very unique experience!

Due to the location in the forest, the air can feel a bit humid, especially in the bathroom, but the friendly host gives clear instructions on how to minimize this, so it wasn’t an issue.

The welcome and introduction from Ana Maria was fabulous and with some good tips on what to do and where to eat. Her communication was excellent. The 'private' waterfall was worth a visit.

The group of houses are in the middle of a forest so you would expect humidity but we did find the house a little damp, quite dark and sparsely furnished. But you will find everything you need.
