Prachtig uitzicht op het ruime terras in een rustige wijk buiten het centrum. Alles voorzien wat je nodig hebt: van zeep in de douche tot snijplanken in de keuken. Gemakkelijk om zelf in te checken met sleutelkluisje. Aangenaam verrast door het welkomstpakket met water en koekjes ed.

Vermoedelijk stond het appartement even leeg of werd er door de vorige mensen niet gekookt, want de keukenkasten en -schuiven roken wat muf.

It's in a lovely location if you want to explore the quieter side of the island and enjoy the walks, Madeira has to offer. The apartment offers amazing views from the balcony too. The accommodation is spacious and like a home away from home. It was great to be left a little welcome pack and some staples of milk, eggs, coffee and tea, along with some other staple items to be able to cook with (very much appreciated). The communication with the host was exceptional too. The accommodation is in walking distance of some local cafe bars too, which cash is required.

It would be great to have an apron put into the kitchen, to compliment the rest of the practical homely features.

Het was er relatief rustig. De host had gezorgd voor allerlei lekkernijen (van eieren tot en met een klein flesje Madeira). Het contact met de host was prima; een heel openhartige en warme vrouw. Ze heeft ons zelfs uitgenodigd om tijdens een nationale feestdag met haar familie en vrienden mee te eten .

We waren met twee gezinnen en het kleinste bed was voor ons iets aan de kleine kant en lag wat door. Het zithoekje (een kleine tweepersoonsbank) was wat aan de kleine kant. (maar er is zoveel te doen dat er voor het bankhangen sowieso nauwelijks tijd was)

Good communication and easy to access property (using key box with code). Apartment is well kitted out with everything you need, a lovely range of goodies left for our arrival (eggs, biscuits, milk, fruit, even a small bottle of Madeira). Great views from the balcony.

It is a quite a long walk from the town center, but i imagine anyone staying here would have a car and so not a big problem...unless you want to drink lots!
