About this house rental
Stone house 170 m2 completely renovated (end of work at the beginning of July 2020).
Ideal location at the foot of the Château des Milandes, former property of Josephine Baker. This house was also her property.
Composed on the first floor of a large living room overlooking the castle as well as a large fully equipped kitchen opening onto the patio, this house has on the 1st floor 3 beautiful bedrooms and a second TV room. On the 2nd floor, a 4th bedroom is the ideal place for the children's area (many board games available).
Family bathroom with bath, shower room in the master suite. 2 WC.
The patio, out of sight and quiet, is ideally exposed to enjoy the sun all day long and shelter in the shade of a large parasol if necessary.
Finally, the house has a table football room where it will be good to enjoy moments of pleasure.
Bedroom 1: Bed 160 (can be separated into 2 beds of 80)
Bedroom 2: Bed 160 (can be separated into 2 beds of 80)
Bedroom 3: Bed 140
Bedroom 4: 2 beds of 80 that can be pushed together + 1 bed of 90
Note that everything is provided (crockery, chairs, size of tables,...) to live comfortably with 9-10 people. You will not miss anything!
Small appliances (Nespresso, waffle machine, raclette machine)
Gas barbecue + plancha
Dishwasher, washing machine, dryer
Possible options:
Cleaning 90€
Bed linen 15€/bed
Towels 8€/kit
Baby kit option (high chair, travel cot with mattress and fitted sheet, duvet, potty/toilet reducer, stroller) 10€ for the stay
Options paid on arrival by cheque.
The tenant will also be given a rental contract to sign and a deposit check (900€) will be requested on arrival at the premises.
Ideally located, you will be at:
- less than 5 minutes from the 1st beaches on the banks of the Dordogne (canoeing, swimming)
- 5min from the first amenities and 10min from the supermarket
- less than 10 minutes from the castles of Beynac and Castelnaud, gardens of Marqueyssac,...
- 15min from Sarlat
In this central place, you will also have very easy access to gardens, caves, chasms, markets, tree climbing,...

Nous avons passé la deuxieme semaine d'août dans le gîte en famille (5 adultes et 2 enfants).
Le logement était parfait, vielle maison rénovée avec goût et très bien équipée.
Très bien placé, à proximité de nombreuses activités (multiples endroits de baignade et de départ de canoë) et le château de Milandes colé au gîte qui en plus d'offrir une très belle vue est très intéressant à visiter.

Maison très propre bien équipée.Petit bémol : beaucoup de marches pas de toilettes en bas et une seule place de parking . Je recommande .

Grand gite très confortable et très bien équipé (climatisation !) permettant de visiter les sites des châteaux des Milandes, de Castelnaud, des jardins de Marqueysac sans faire trop de voiture. (d'autres sites sont tout aussi accessibles, Beynac, La Roque Gageac, Domme, même Sarlat n'est pas trop loin).
L'accueil par Jean-Louis était parfait (merci pour sa disponibilité) et les propriétaires très à l'écoute.

Maison très fonctionnelle et avec un charme fou. L'emplacement est idéal avec la Dordogne à quelques petites minutes, Sarlat à environ 15 km, Montignac (Lascaux) à environ 40 km, des tonnes de visites dans un rayon de 30 km. Extremement calme le soir. Que ce soit les enfants ou les adultes, tout le monde y a passé un excellent séjour.
