4 night break at end of November

Lovely cottage in an ideal location, a 2 minute walk to the main square, well presented, very clean & tidy. Kitchen was well equipped, and games and dvds were available.

Nothing, we managed to park on road outside but not sure if this would be an option in the high season.

We loved Stow but the New Loos didn’t meet expectations.

The location was excellent. The facilities in the property were good

We are disappointed that the bedrooms were partially underground. The window was at ground level and looked out at the driveway in one bedroom or the bin enclosure in the other. There is no outlook at all. The upstairs windows have a view of the driveway or people’s feet as they pass. We thought the bedrooms were on the ground floor and living upstairs. But it was half and half. The staircase goes half up and half down which isn’t clear from the photos. We are elderly so getting bags down and then back up was awkward. Finally the residents in the school next door were unwelcoming. Complained even when the car was outside for only minutes to get the bags loaded.

Location, comfort, well supplied kitchen, comfortable bed.

Non slip strips in shower recess and a shower caddy for shampoo etc would be a huge improvement. Unfortunately the owner of the car parked right beside the bedroom window, left at 5.30 most mornings and managed to wake us up.

We had the most wonderful stay at New Loos Cottage. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The cottage is centrally located in a very quiet street where you can park easily on the side. The hosts left a lovely welcome basket. All in all, we felt very much at home from the moment we arrived.

Beautifully decorated and accessorised; so well thought out; lots of little touches which made it feel very homely. Complimentary wine and nibbles and milk in the fridge was greatly appreciated. Warm, clean, and very inviting; comfortable beds, fantastic shower, and in a great location, just a very short walk to the lovely centre of Stow.

Easter in the Coswolds, best place to stay

Excellent location, great little homely touches that made it feel more like a home than a house. Easy walk to some lovely old pubs and close to other towns for walks and sightseeing.great facilities. Appreciated the lovely gift basket of wine and biscuits

Shame no parking included but saying that we managed to find parks within meters and that was at busy easter weekend so not really a problem. Really couldnt find a fault.

A perfect cottage to use as a Cotswolds base.

communication from the owners was excellent. the cottage was easy to find, and the keyless entry was perfect. location is perfect - walking distance to all in the village of Stow, and very convenient short drives to much of the Cotswolds. The layout of the cottage is perfect as well.

nothing we didn’t like. the only real fault was the location of the toilet, just about flush with the towel rack. couldn’t really sit comfortably on the toilet without leaning on the towel rack. but otherwise, the conversion of the whole property was very well done.

Lovely relaxing break in a beautifully decorated property in an ideal location.

Cottage was situated in a lovely village with lots of places to eat (booking recommended), and ideal for exploring the Cotswolds. The property was decorated to an excellent standard with little quirky touches and a lovely welcome hamper filled with goodies was waiting for us on our arrival

Although we knew there was no outside space , maybe a bench/ seat outside would have been nice for a morning coffee. Some hooks on the back of the doors on the ground floor would also have been helpful.

Great cottage - highly recommended as a based for a few days in Stow-on-the-Wold!

The cottage made for a very enjoyable stay - it was clean, had great facilities and was comfortable - arrival was very easy and the thoughtful touches by the hosts including a welcome basket made for a great start to our stay.

Interesting stay in an 'unusual' building. Excellently equipped, maintained, and comfortable.

Very central location for Stow, but back enough from the square and main through road to be quiet and peaceful.

Parking - not actually an issue because each evening there was always a space on the road for us, but we would have liked to park off-road in the grounds of the property, and it appeared there was actually plenty of room for us to have done so. Would not put us off recommending or returning it is just a suggestion that if you ever get the chance to negotiate a parking space go for it we are sure your tenants would be very pleased not to have the parking concern.
