Amazing apartment - great location and host

The host, Claudio, was amazing with communication and helping with local places and supermarkets. There was a lovely welcome pack with wine, biscuits, jams and went shopping to get our essentials as we were arriving late in the evening. The location was great to visit the North and South areas, we had a bit of trouble parking in Menaggio to get the ferry.

A little haven of peace and quiet with a breathtaking view in the lake and mountains

Everything was perfect! Before arrival, Claudio sent us very clear instructions on how to find the place, where to park and how to check in. A welcome basket with a bottle of Prosecco was waiting for us in the kitchen. The view on the lake is breathtaking. The place is spotless and equipped with everything one may possible need during the stay I including pots and pans, tableware, coffee, cooking oil and spices, detergent, and cleaning supplies. The town itself is small, picturesque, and quiet. Sadly for us, it rained a lot during our stay, but the balcony offered great protection, and we were able to enjoy the views while sipping on our morning coffee and afternoon spritz.

Definitely a place to recommend

The apartment was extra spacious (for a family of four), the views over the lake were spectacular and the parking space is big enough and just some 100 metres from the door, maybe less. It was clean and equipped with all things you need (no microwave though). There was a great communication with the owner too.

A very large and spacious flat, super clean and equipped with everything you need, add to this a beautiful view of the lake, a private parking space and you have the perfect place to spend your holiday on Como. Good contact with the host. Highly recommended!

Spacious apartment with a stunning view, value for money!

Great spacious apartment with a stunning view from the balcony and through several windows. Claudio and family were very friendly hosts who also gave us a ‘welcome basket’ full of Italian things when we arrived. There’s a reserved parking spot which is close to the apartment, which is convenient as well. The apartment had all we needed during our stay, definitely good value for money!

The double bed was kinda squeaky, so for light sleepers that might be an issue. another thing is the apartment is on the second floor and has no elevator, therefore not accessible for everyone.. Heating system is not very convenient, warms up for only about 30/60 minutes then shuts off again. Therefore it was a bit cold in the apartment during our stay. But those are just small things, overall great apartment!

The apartment was very spacious, the kitchen was very well equipped, we cooked a very good dinner with the equipment that was there. They left us an amazing care package with cookies, jams, toasts and even spaghetti. The location is absolutely beautiful and also the view is incredible. The bed was very comfy. The tv is smart and you can stream Netflix and such from your phone. We had a great time :)

The heating has a timer set to 30/60/90 minutes at a time, and then it stops and needs to be set again. The apartment is on a second floor, and has no elevator

This place is great

This place was great. The host was very very helpful and answered every question. You also can word from there with good WiFi. This apartment has also a Modem. We really had everything we needed. Great place.

If you want sun all day long at the balcony...you won‘t get it. Around 1:30/2:00pm the balcony doesn‘t have sun anymore. But the view ist still stunning. We don‘t really watch TV but if you want to...the programs I think were all in Italien. Not Englisch or German!

Great homey stay with phantastic view

We were greeted very warmly by the host and his family even though we came a bit later then arranged. The apartment is very spacious and has everything you need including some amenities like coffee and such. Small wellcome gift was much appreciated by us. The living room area is by far the best with the great view over the lake. The heating was working great and made the stay super cozy despite the chilly weather. Perfect stay for a party of 4.

Top appartement in een rustig dorp met prachtig uitzicht.

Super appartement. Werkelijk aan alles is gedacht. Ons zoontje had alle ruimte om rond te lopen. Bij aankomst was er een welkomstgeschenk voorzien. Claudio is een aangename host, de communicatie met hem liep vlot. Eigen ruime parkeerplaats op +/- 50m stappen. Wij hadden onze eigen fietsen mee. Claudio heeft gezorgd dat we deze veilig konden stallen. Het appartement is gelegen in een heel rustig dorpje met een leuk keien strandje. Aan het water is een gezellig restaurantje (Crème Caramel) waar wij meermaals zijn gaan eten. Je kan ook take-away pizza doen en gezellig op het strand opeten. Op 700m is er een bootverhuur (Nautica Starline) met scherpe prijzen en een zeer goede service. Gewoon even een whatsapp sturen naar de zaakvoerder.

Geen opmerkingen, alles was naar wens.
