Very comfortable bed!

The location was perfect for me, as I was visiting a friend who lives in the area. But in general the location is very nice anyway. Right on the tram line, close to the train station. It's a lovely residential area, quiet. The bed was super comfortable! I absolutely loved it. The apartment was very clean and the whole building smelled very clean! The apartment had everything you'd need. I only used the bedroom and bathroom, but there was a kitchen and a living room woth tv and pullout couch.

A window in the bathroom had been left open i arrived, so the whole apartment was very cold when I checked in (in December). And the check in information left in the apartment was outdated, with the wrong password for the WiFi. I had to contact the host, which was difficult to do without wifi... But he answered promptly, so that's good.

Excellent location. Plenty of space. Well kitted out kitchen. Phil was a helpful host, rapidly sorting out a problem with the electricity.

The unit is quite old, and many facilities are in need of repair and upgrades. For example, the stove requires a lighter to ignite, which is unsafe, and there is no smoke detector. The flooring is worn and creaks loudly when walking. The walls are not soundproof, so you can hear conversations and movement from outside and even from upstairs. Ventilation is very poor—almost nonexistent. During the hot summer in Bern, the unit felt extremely stuffy, almost like being in an oven

Cosy apartment near public transport

Great accommodation in Bern! Very close to public transport (bus and tram stops), easy to reach the city center. The area is fairly quiet at night, there's a kiosk and a small market nearby, which makes life easier. The apartment is super cute and well decorated, beds and couch very comfortable, the space is really good. We particularly enjoyed the kitchen, which was well equipped and very cosy for our meals :) Phil was also very helpful and replied fast when we needed his help (something very small with the internet, but still). I would recommend the stay!

keep in mind that the apartment is on the 4th floor and there's no lift (that was NOT a problem for us, but if you have mobility issues or very heavy luggage, the place may not suit you that well).

Superb

The apartment is big. It is old but has been renovated. It’s very clean. It has a washer in the basement of the building. It includes a covered parking next to another building across the street (about 100 meters). I like the coffee maker. The owner provided plenty of espresso pods. It was so great. He also provided all kind of fruit and a bottle of wine. We love them. The owner was very responsive to our messages. We appreciate that. The patio and the view of a garden next door were nice.

The wood floor is beautiful however it makes noise in every step you walk. The bathroom tub is long but narrow and quite high and can be slippery. A shower would just be better, however these are not big deals to us.

Appartement in Bern.

Fijn en ruim appartement op een rustige locatie in een groene omgeving. Fijne bedden. Aparte keuken. Alles is aanwezig. Ondanks dat het appartement aan een doorgaande weg ligt hoor je daar binnen niets van, woon en slaap kamer bevinden zich aan de achterkant. Tram halte op 2 minuten lopen, en in 10 minuten in het centrum . Er staat een fijne grote smart tv in de huiskamer. De slaapkamer heeft een balkon met zitje aan de achterkant met zicht op de tuin.

De wijk is rustig en er is niet veel te doen. Er is een pizzeria aan de overkant en bij de benzine pomp aan het einde van de straat kun je wat boodschappen doen, verder niets in de omgeving. Op zondag is alles gesloten, en op maandag zijn ook alle musea's gesloten. Appartementen complex heeft geen lift houd daar rekening mee. Tip: Ik persoonlijk zou het fijn vinden als er informatie wordt gegeven hoe de tramhalte heet en met welke tram je bij het appartement kunt komen. Nu moet je het eerst allemaal zelf uitzoeken, fijn als dit op de site of bij het welkomst bericht zou staan..

Een heel fijn verblijf gehad

Wij hebben het goed gehad in het appartement. Het bed sliep fantastisch. Een ruim appartement voor 2 personen. De parkeerplek voor de auto was ook heel fijn. Ruim en overdekt. Alles was in de keuken aanwezig. Het was heel schoon. De host Phil was ook heel bereikbaar en reageerde meteen. Heel attent dat er koffiecups en chocolade stonden!

Er hing een sigaretten lucht in de woonkamer, waarschijnlijk afkomstig uit aangrenzend/ onderliggend appartement. Dat was wel jammer, maar ik denk niet dat Phil hier iets aan kan doen.
