Enjoyed our stay and the log burner was a bonus with the complementary wood provided.

Aluminium pans provided didn’t work on hob. Not enough soft seating for the 6 of us.

We liked the cottage very much, but it could have been better cleaned.

Very cosy. I liked the small village, it was very calm and peaceful. The view was also excellent. And I liked the house. I love its style.

It wasn’t very clean. We had some stains on our Linen. And the kitchen equipment was little bit dirty.

Lovely cottage for exploring the area.

Lovely cottage full of facilities and loved the wood burner. Used as a base to explore Skye, bits of the NC500, and around Lock Ness. Lochcarron round the corner was lovely with places to eat and local shop.

A beautiful property in a lovely area. The wood fire was a blessing & I loved that each room had its own en-suite. Was a bit disappointed that my stay was very brief for 1 night only. Would definitely liked to have stayed here longer.

Nothing negative about the property at all - it actually rated in the top 3 of my accommodations during my trip - however we just had some issues trying to get hold of the hosts when we couldn't get into the lock box. I had a big day driving all day, it was getting late & when the hosts wouldn't pick up my call I started to panic a bit. However we finally got in touch & all was good. (The code had since changed & I was notifyed by email - but being on holiday I couldn't access my emails, so didn't know. Maybe another way of contacting - or use several methods of contacting to prevent the panic of OH NO we are locked out & NOONE is around...eeeek!)

Unfortunately, this rental is has been the worst one I have ever stayed in.

It was clean and liked that there was parking right outside the flat.

One of the beds was terribly uncomfortable. Could feel every board underneath the mattress. Only one pillow provided per guest and they were all flat. I woke with a sore neck every day. No coffee pot ☹️ the people in the cottage next to us (Wee Collins Cottage) we very loud. No dryer or anything to hang wet clothes out to dry on. We arrived on a Sunday evening and did not there was no where to buy groceries aside from Dingwall. Which would take an hour each way to drive. The local hotel was short handed and only offered food service for their guests. Needless to say, we were hungry. It would have been nice to know this ahead of time.

Amazing views and a wonderful cozy, yet fully functional cottage!

I loved the location! It was farther way from the Isle of Skye, which is where we were exploring but that enabled us to have a lovely drive into the Isle and a couple of quiet evenings. The fireplace was so fun to make a fire in and the facilities were top notch. Highly recommend!

The only issue, which wasn’t a big one, was that the beds were very firm and not the most comfortable. I was still able to get some quality sleep but as an American, I’m used to softer beds.

Well equipped, house looks recently renovated. Quite big (3 bedrooms and bathrooms) The small pub 100m from the house provides cosy atmosphere and good food.. Easy self check in.

Perfect place to stay near Isle of Skye

Wow, that is an amazing place. I was really surprised. Everything was perfect. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms. It was 5 of us, and that was very helpful. Beds comfy, well equipped kitchen. Modern and cosy at the same time. We loved sitting next to the wood burner after a long hike. Also we booked it because it is close to Isle of Skye. I would love to go there again.

perfect for our needs - everyone has their own bathroom and bedroom and the wood burner kept us cosy in the evening

heating turned off the first night and if it had not been for the wood burner we would have been quite chilly. A really minor thing: the sitting room could do with a lamp as the overhead light is so bright you could do surgery under it.

Highly reccomend to anyone vising Skye Island and surrounding area.

We most enjoyed the fireplace and the amount of wood stored for it. We also enjoyed the barbecue, and the amount of toilets. The whole house is nice, bright and well looked after. There is plenty of home equipment including a washing machine with short programs for a quick laundry that you can dry in the garden ( Some pegs could be useful ). I was also glad there was sugar and salt in the kitchen along tea bags etc.

Although there is a Wi-Fi signal available, it didn't work well after a long trip, we tried to catch up with work with our laptop and it was almost impossible, But we understand it is a hard place to get good internet signal. It would be nice if there was a toilet downstairs so we don't have to rush upstairs every time, But again it's not something you change about the house, and there are a good amount of toilets overall.

Beautiful home

Absolute gem of a find. We stayed for 1 night as an emergency stop due to the original accommodation we booked not being suitable so we found this cottage and we were absolutely delighted with it. Such a shame we were only staying for 1 night as we could have stayed a week. We really loved the character and charm of this place. We will be back in the future.

Well located clean property with a friendly pub close by

The woodburner with plenty wood and the ensuite bathrooms.

The pillows are too thin, two people slept badly because of sore necks. No tea towels and some forks were missing. The bbq area is great, but the fake grass is awful.

Great place to relax

Lovely warm cottage for relaxing with friends. Great to have ensuite in each room. Lovely quiet wee village not far from a couple of nice restaurants.

Can't fault the cottage or location but the wee pub never seemed to be open despite website saying it should be . Once again this is obviously no slight on the cottage instead we sat outside in the wee garden gazing at the stars .

Location was stunning, a great central point to do day trips to Skye, Torridon, Plockton, Applecross etc.

Plumbing/Heating noises at night at irregular intervals kept waking us up so didn't get any nights of unbroken sleep. Wifi very slow, we used 4g instead! Netflix locked us out on first day. Tumble dryer would have been handy or a few more high-dry rails.
