Glorious location, comfortable house, needs some updating

Truly stunning location; very good communications from hosts; comfortable beds; exceptional pub and very well-stocked shop in the village

Decor, kitchen cabinets and bathroom flooring need updating; kitchen equipment was plentiful but chaotic; some prints on walls are old and sun-bleached, which looks sad; main bedroom is good sized but the others are on the small size for doubles; odd selection of TV apps (no Amazon Prime, Film4, Disney+ or Now/Sky); would have been nice to have some books about the area

Superb

Situation perfect, house had everything you would need as a family. The Inn was close and served take away or eat in . The shop was wonderful had all you would want and was well within walking distance of the house. Beds very comfortable and the heating was on for our arrival which was very welcome!!

I didn't realize you had to bring your own towels and for a family 😁 family of 4 this would have meant quite a lot of extra luggage. However when I explained to David he agreed to supply them and everything was fine.

Great house for a family holiday, enclosed garden perfect for dog and little person alike!

Views were absolutely stunning! Fabulous location looking over to Skye. House is very well equipped, just about everything you could want is supplied. Rooms all a good size so plenty of room for us all.short walk to the inn which was ideal for a meal out.

Shower trays very slippery. Could benefit from a liner for more grip. Otherwise showers work very well, good head of water.

Exceptional

The house was right on the loch so we popped over every morning with kayak and for a swim in October and was not too cold. House was lovely and warm and had absolutely everything you need. Little pub uo Road was fab, lovely roaring fire and great food. Loved the sheep just roaming wherever they pleased.

The only one thing was the road in and out, was just a little too remote for us as a family but if wanting to escape from it all its absolutely perfect

Location ideal for exploring the Isle of Skye , size of the house, well equipped had everything even dishwasher tablets. Lots of beautiful places to visit had an amazing holiday.

Beautiful peaceful place and lovely area for walking and swimming. Superb food at Glenelg Inn

beautiful location just across the single track road from the sea and a sheltered place to paddle board and swim. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of room for the number of guests. Host was easy to communicate with even though not living in the immediate area and promptly answered any queries

very little! a couple of things that could have been there but not found eg washing up liquid, bottle opener we loved it

Great house in stunning location

The house has everything you need, especially kitchen equipment which is way beyond what many holiday homes offer. There is plenty space for everyone and the village is a fantastic place for a holiday. The view is just breathtaking and changes every moment in the Scottish weather. We saw dolphins, porpoises, herons and a sea Eagle from the house.

It would be great if two of the doubles were twins to accommodate families more comfortably. The mattress in the family room is a bit uncomfortable.

Fab family holiday

Everything. We had a fantastic week at Seaview. We were there as a family of 6 and our dog. The house was everything we needed and more. The house was well equipped with plenty of plates, utensils, cutlery, cleaning products everything we needed. Would definitely recommend. Plenty to do around the area but you definitely need a car, day trip to Skye is highly recommended too. From the house you have a fantastic view of the Isle of Skye
