Excellent

If it is available, it would be our first option for Ostia, even for Rome, considering that we travel many times in Rome. Pleasant communication in italian/english (in our case) via phone or WhatsApp with the host. Fast booking confirmation and self check-in. Clear and complete information about check-in, property, stores, parking, beach, and all that you might need. Near to the bus station, close to the beach/sea, not far away from the train station 'Lido Centro'(aprox.6 minutes with the bus or 850 meters if you walk). From there you can travel very easily to Rome center. One option is to travel with the train from Lido Centro to Basilica San Paolo and from there to change to the metro line to different destinations in Rome. Also it is very easy to travel to Fiumicino airport. We learned that there is a bus from Ostia (Stazzione Vecchia) to Fiumicino airport. The trip takes around 30 minutes. The 'Stazzione Vecchia' station is at 300 meters away from the apartment. The apartment is very well equipped, and we found everything we need, even toys for kids for the beach. We also appreciate the snacks or refreshments prepared. All small details prepared by the host made the difference, and that is why we will return.

Loved it!

Clean, comfortable, fresh. Great location and fully equipped with everything I needed. The washing machine and dryer (although it was warm enough not to need it) was just the luxury I craved at the end of a long trip. The hosts could not have been more accomodating- from sending through exceptional directions, providing personalised support with transport and explaining local accommodation laws - such as ID and tourist tax requirements. Very much appreciated- especially as a solo traveller - from Australia! It’s a great spot with lots to do - or nothing at all - except soak up the amazing Italian food, culture, friendly neighbourhood hospitality and seaside breeze! Great to get away from hectic inner city Rome - but easy to access by local trains when desired.

Home-like housing close to the beach

The apartment had absolutely everything you could need even for a longer stay! Kitchen is fully-equipped, there is 3 tv’s, large bathroom, great beds, and even the sofa was comfy to sleep. House is very peaceful and quiet. Short walk to free beach, many grocery shops nearby, easy connections to central Rome and Ostia Antica. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful with any questions you may have, easy and fast communication via WhatsApp. Would definitely recommend this place!

Everything was perfect! The apartment was the cleanest we've ever been in, really modern and nice. Everything we needed was there and even more like toys for kids, ball, digital scale, set of chargers, beach equipment, TV with Netflix and Disney plus access. Free beach was really near - just a few minutes of walk. Contact with the owners and information they gave us were super helpful. There was even a small bottle of wine and some sweet drinks and snacks for kids as a welcome gift. 100% recommend! Even the highest rate is not enough for this place!

A lot of nice restaurants and small markets in vicinity of location, bank, and beach. You can use electrical scooters and bikes to explore surroundings. Great facilities in apartment, clean and air conditioning in all rooms. Best place if you wish to explore Ostia area. Light walking to central bus/train station Lido Center is 10 minutes.

Very clean and beautiful apartment

The location of the apartment was super. The sea was within walking distance. Grocery stores and a market was close by. This is the cleanest apartment I have ever booked. The apartment was super well scented and everything necessary for life is there. Lucrezia and Alessandro are very helpful. They have even prepared the guide with the most important information (use of equipment, grocery stores, beaches, etc.). We were very happy with everything. If we come to Italy again, we will definitely be in this apartment.

Great location and exceptional cleanliness

We booked this apartment last minute as we looked for a place at the end of of our 1 month stay in Italy. The apartment is EXACTLY what you see in pictures and more. What you can’t see is the impeccable cleanliness, the amazing location (minutes to the beach, minutes to the best food market and steps away from one of the best “mercatino”) along with amazing hosts, Lucrezia and Alessandro. They are the nicest couple, who will go out of their way to accommodate you. We had not brought beach towels and they not only provided us with some but also purchased beach chairs for us to use! You will find everything you need (minus a potato peeler 😀) for your stay, including a dishwasher and washer/dryer. You will not go wrong renting this beautiful apt. We absolutely loved it and recommend it. Thank you Lucrezia and Alessandro for your excellent customer service and basically for being such wonderful people. Oh and by the way, thank you for recommending the restaurant Pizza in Piazza. We had their delicious pizza, supplis and arancinis. We hope to return and stay at Come a Casa!

AWESOME PLACE TO RELAX!!

First I would like to say, that the hosts are very friendly and hospitable. They have adapt the house to our requests. The apartment is very clean and very cozy, Everything is in good condition and fully furnished. You have a very nice and comfortable kitchen also completely furnished with all items that you need for cooking. The house includes all necessary appliances. Such as: washing machine, dryer, iron, microwave, oven, toaster, big tv, etc ... also you have good connectivity in the house, you have Alexa and good wifi. You also have air conditioning in all house, bedroom and living room. You have a very comfortable terrace to dine or have a coffee in the morning. Near to the apartment you have parking, that you can see from the terrace. The place is near from all that you need; restaurants, stores, super markets, etc... You have 5-10 mins to te beach! I very happy with this place! I recommend for all this beautiful place! All was perfect! I will repeat sure!

GOOD LOCATION FOR EVERYTHING. WE WALKED TO AN ANIMAL FARM, BETTER TO DRIVE THOUGH) LOTS OF DIFFERENT ANIMALS,SEATING AREAS AND SHADE , PERFECT FOR CHILDREN. 10 MINUTES WALK TO THE LOVLEY BEACHES.
