Comfortable, relaxing, great.

It was an absolutely beautiful property, paired with an exquisite hostess in Monica. She was very sweet, hospitable, and cooked the most amazing breakfast. It was the perfect base for us to start our long day of hikes. A bonus note: the property smelled GREAT!

A truly delightful place to stay!

The breakfasts were amazing! Monica made a fresh apple strudel and a fabulous tart, fresh biscuits, and cooked us scrambled eggs both mornings! The property was so beautiful, inside and outside! Our room was decorated and furnished beautifully, the bed was very comfortable— everything was perfect! We even had a beautiful view of the Dolomites from our bathroom window! The views surrounding the town were beautiful. Monica the host was so kind and friendly! She was especially helpful trying to find us a good restaurant, even when there wasn’t much close by. She has designed and created a beautiful place for tourists to visit.

The location (the actual town of Pieve) did not have much to offer, not many restaurants close by.

Imagine a place you call home and you find it in SognoInCadore ;-) Monica is so positive person and the overall feeling from the house is exactly the same.

Should I think of any, just dont count on fridge being a real fridge ;-) It is sort of car fridge type and size, fine for drinks to cool but dont expect storing a food or ice cream in it :-)

Very welcoming. Beautiful tiny details that add to the atmosphere and ambience. Monica our host was extremely helpful and made us feel at home. Breakfast was lovely and again the delivery of all our delicious homemade pastries etc was fantastic.

Exceptional hospitality

We stumbled upon this hidden gem by chance, nestled in the heart of breathtaking nature. A beautifully renovated villa from the 1800s, restored with an incredible sense of detail and respect for history. The room was spacious and elegant, featuring a large bathroom and one of the most comfortable beds and pillows we’ve ever slept on. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the exceptional hospitality of the owner, who welcomed us with warmth and kindness — and in the morning surprised us with delicious homemade cakes and muffins. We travel a lot and tend to be quite critical, but here, there is absolutely nothing we could fault. A heartfelt thank you — we are truly grateful.

Good starting point for hiking in the area - and less "busy" than the Cortina side

Very nice and quiet location with great views to the surrounding mountains. Fully modernized building and rooms with comfortable beds and well equipped bathroom. Monica as host is very friendly and helpful (and a master using Google translate if you - as us - do not speak Italian :-) - and she serves a great breakfast. Domegge di Cadore is not big, but does have a few good restaurants in walking distance from the B&B.

An absolute jewel! Glimpse into a real Italian hospitality, character and place where you will feel the love! Monica has done wonders to make sure that rooms and the whole house is super cosy and you will find it hard to leave it! The views are breathtaking, the decor immaculate and attention to detail, well , simply out of this world! Breakfast room is wonderful and cosy, the food home made is incredible and the host, Wow, Wow, Wow! Super! The location is great if you want to explore further, easy to get to everywhere yet so peaceful that you will feel like you are million miles away from hustle and bustle. Our stay was short ( too short) but our memories will be lifelong and we can’t wait to visit again, this time for longer! Thank you

Everything , fantastic stay and brilliant services. This is a 5* star property and service. Such great quality of the food breakfast , rooms , bathrooms are fully equipped spa / steam massage shower room. Very big a spacious, excellent for family and children , couples, friends. Internet is high speed. This a cozy home made with high standards and great quality. Monica the owner is amazing , deserves an international award for hospitality for service , food , accommodation, safety, luxury and standards. The whole place was in a Xmas atmosphere and decoration and you feel like in a Christmas fairytale. We had an amazing Xmas there and will return for sure in any time of the year. 🤶👍🌲⛷️Thank you Monica🤗.

I think previous reviews have said it all!! Lovely hosts, spotlessly clean and spacious rooms. Added extras like a small fridge and kettle which are so rare in other accommodations. The whole property has been created with much love and attention. Then there is the FABULOUS breakfast - no wonder all the guests were so relaxed and content.

Wonderful hosts and welcoming location

The accommodation was wonderful, clean and with all needed amenities. Our hosts were very helpful, very welcoming and took good care of us. The breakfast was amazing - with homemade sweets (best biscotti in Italy) and fresh food. The room was spacious, always clean and the house smelled wonderful at any moment during the day. We especially thank our hosts for helping us get to the train station and giving us Indications about the best places to visit.

The location, Domegge di Cadore, is a beautiful village at 1hr from Cortina D'Ampezzo. The only inconvenience is that, if you do not have a car (which we didn't), you need to be very careful on how you choose your visits and ensure you have an available bus (especially on the weekend) Nothing to dislike regarding the accommodation. We would come back!

The place was spotless, very comfortable, modern bathroom, with ample bedroom space. Monica couldn’t have been nicer and her breakfast was great. The location for a couple of our hikes was a little far, but it was great to go back to the B&B at the end of the day.

At first sight you just think it's one more house in a village but when you step inside you feel like you came in a different world. The house is renovated with a lot of thought. The owner definitely gives a lot off effort in every little thing she does. Everything looks new but it has that rustic feel. And the breakfast was amazing. Definitely worth visiting if you are there.

Truly a 'Dream in Cadore'!

Monica is a wonderful inviting host, always happy to give suggestions on places to visit. Our room was warm and quaint, decorated in a chic mountain style. Lots of attention to detail, ornate washbasin and blackout blinds on windows. The beds with memory foam mattresses are super comfy. The homemade cakes and jams for breakfast were delicious as was all the fresh local produce on offer. We will definitely be back later in the year!

Superb B&B

Despite the challenges of getting to the property and turning the car around in the carpark (see below), it is absolutely worth the effort because everything after that is quite superb. The breakfast, the house, the views, the room, the very unique atmosphere and decor and, especially, the hostess. Although we had English and German compared to the hostess' Italian and French, communication was never a problem due to her complete mastery of her translation tool! The room was large, super clean and with a very warm and unique style. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and it was possible to request other items that were not immediately present (espresso, eggs, hot chocolate). Home made cakes were different each morning.

Access to the carpark is via narrow winding streets. The usual route was blocked by street works, so we had some difficulty navigating our way. The carpark is narrow, which makes turning to face the exit a bit of a challenge for larger cars - not so bad when no others are there, but more so when there are. Radar controls along this valley en route to Cortina are unbelievably ubiquitous - which is all the more stressful due to the many sections of roadworks and frequent changes of speed limits. However, the scenery along the route is wonderful. Location is perhaps a bit far from some of the well known Dolomite attractions (like The Cime and Cortina), but this B&B is such a lovely place to return to at the end of each day and to wake up and have breakfast in at the beginning of each day.
