Lovely property but expensive.

Spacious, beautifully decorated and well equipped.

Loved it

I loved my visit. The photo above does not do justice to how lovely and cozy the place was. There’s a rug in front of the fire, the couch is comfy, the lights are dimmed and atmospheric. It was perfect

The wood burner and generous stash of wood we could use. Spacious bathroom and well equipped modern kitchen. Bed comfy and french doors out onto the garden with view of hills.

The perfect cottage for mountain walks and peaceful evenings by the log burner

I loved this cottage — it was cosy and welcoming, with central heating, a lovely log burner, and an open-plan kitchen and dining area. The bedroom looked out onto a beautiful little garden, which made it feel really peaceful. The bathroom was spacious with a lovely hot shower, perfect after a day of hiking. It’s in a great location too, just a few minutes’ drive from the shores of Loch Lomond and within easy reach of the mountains I went there to hike. I also messaged the owner a few times — she was super nice and really helpful.

Comfortable, spacious one bedroom cottage near Loch Lomond

A spacious, well equipped, comfortable one bedroom cottage. The host was friendly and the cottage has a lot of thoughtful little touches. Ben Lomond cottage is located on the edge of a small village near Loch Lomond. The RSPB Loch Lomond nature reserve is close by. The location was good for us.

Lovely property, quiet and peaceful.

Lovely property, whilst people say it’s on a main road it is actually set back off the main road, parking outside the property and we heard no traffic at all.

Everything, other than internet signal, poor on 5G and not much better on WiFi, but at least it made us put our phones down and talk to each other 😊

A Wonderful Escape

Ben Lomond cottage had a homely, inviting feel and was more spacious than I expected. I liked that the bedroom opened out to garden area with views of fields and sheep 🐑 in the distance. Certainly a lovely escape from London. Linda was delightful and helpful. There were bus timetables provided and information about hikes. Great location too

The WiFi was a little patchy but once you found that sweet spot was all good

The cottage had everything we needed. It was in a peaceful setting, overlooking fields and a lovely place to relax. The hosts were friendly and super helpful. It was nice to have the space, the onsite car park, the outside area and a washing machine. The fireplace was a treat. Nearby walks were really nice.

Clean and well equipped. Host reached out to us in plenty of time with directions and check in information. The setting is so peaceful and beautiful. So cute! With decorative Knick knacks and adorable color coordinated bedding and accessories. Fully equipped kitchen.

Lovely little cottage in great location

A lovely little cottage in a great location, only around 10 mins from Loch Lomond shores. The cottage itself was so homely and comfortable, I really enjoyed looking out over the field of sheep at the back and watching the lambs play around. Linda was absolutely lovely and greeted us on arrival which was a nice touch too. If we were ever back up in Scotland I would think about booking here again.

The early check out was the only thing, 10am, but that's more because I'm not a morning person!

Beautiful modernised cottage. Great layout and use of space. Shower was amazing. Everything that you would need as a base so that you can go and explore Loch Lomond by foot bike or vehicle. Hostess Linda was very welcoming and helpful with any queries.

Nothing to dislike except probably slight weak WiFi but the beautiful scenery and discovering the area more than made up for not being on your phone.

Lovely cottage and garden

This is a lovely old cottage, nicely upgraded by the hosts, with everything you need for a short visit. The hosts are lovely, on-site, and really helpful if needed. We particularly enjoyed the shared garden. We came by public transport and were able to access everything we wanted to see and do quite easily.

After we had booked, I was a bit concerned that the cottage is alongside (although slightly back) from the main road and not situated as indicated by the website in a quieter spot. But as the bedroom is at the back of the cottage, looking out onto the garden, we weren't disturbed by the noise of the road at all. The road is not so bad out with peak times.

Exceptional

The cottage is in a lovely location close to loch Lomond, the cottage itself is far superior than the photos show. We were impressed at the size of the property as well as the photos don't do it justice. Every room was clean and tidy as well as being comfortable. Whenever I need to stay in the area, this is a property I would like to go back to. Linda (Owner) is lovely and checked to make sure we had settled in

A lovely place to stay to explore Scotland

The cottage was lovely, it was clean and had everything we needed for our stay, situated in a great place for exploring Scotland. We were greeted on our arrival and offered drinks which was a lovely touch after our long journey. There was a train station not far away which had free parking where you can travel to Glasgow and Edinburgh easily. In the surrounding areas there are nice places to walk and do a little shopping.

There was nothing to dislike about the property.
