Upper Eyton Farmhouse B&B

Breakfast was tasty and well presented and the location was what we were hoping - a bit in the countryside. Recommendation for local pub was great. HOsts were very friendly

The size of the bathroom, but that is dictated by it being an older residence, which is part of the charm we were looking for.

The best place I've stayed in for years! Lovely people made me feel most welcome. Beautiful old house in a quiet location while handy for Shrewsbury and the Shropshire Hills AONB. My single en-suite room was perfect, especially as it faced north so didn't get too hot in the heatwave. And fabulous breakfasts too!

Only slight problem for less able-bodied guests would be the fairly steep stairs to the rooms, but most will have no trouble.

It was a quiet location with a lovely outside area with garden furniture. The weather was extremely hot and Dawn had very kindly put plenty of chilled water and a fan in the room. You only have to ask for more tea and coffee supplies . The breakfasts were nicely cooked. Very genial hosts. Plenty of parking spaces.

It was described as a superior double with a seating area, desk and fridge. The size and facilities within did not match our experiences of a superior double room. The seating area was two hard chairs which took up alot of space in a very cramped room and served no purpose. There was no proper wardrobe, only one bedside table and the shower room was very small. We don't know if this is down to how Booking .com described the room but it was disappointingly small. We expected a larger fridge. It would have been nice to have more choice at breakfast. Perhaps put a leaflet on the breakfast tables saying what cooked options are available.

It is quiet and the hosts welcomed us warmly into their home.

Nothing, apart from the fact it was very hot during the recent heatwave which is not the norm!
