Perfect stay in the Alps during both winter and summer

We were traveling with extended family and occupied both apartments situated on the ground floor (from the hill side) with its own antechamber. Both apartments have a balcony with stunning views of the village and the Alps. The Egger family lives upstairs and is very friendly and welcoming (they also include a free bottle of milk each morning). Both apartments were clean and warm and furnished with high quality wooden furniture. The kitchen was fully equipped. The bathrooms were impeccable. The whole house is built in traditional style but has been recently renovated (with central heating). The house is very spacious and so are the apartments - much bigger than they appear on the photos. The location is very good - relatively close to the Merano2000 and would recommend for skiing season HQ. Unfortunately, at the time of our visit, there was no snow, but if there was, snow sleds for kids were available in the yard as well as the very inviting slopes all around the house. There is also a grill and a large table and because the surroundings are also great for hiking, I'm sure the Obkirchhof property would meet the needs of summer visitors as well.

The only thing that was problematic is the Google Maps navigation which leads the visitor on the wrong road sometimes. This is, of course, by no fault of the owner, but please be aware, especially if you are arriving late. You can find the property simply and without GPS - when you get off the main road towards the village, just drive past church and turn right by the cottage (illuminated by white light in the night). After that, you drive straight for about 400m through the woods and the Egger family house is the first one on the left (parking is in the back, not in front).

The host was verry friendly and the apartments are really nice. We had a barbeque outside and all the facilities in the kitchen.

We had a wonderful week in Obkirchhof. The hosts were amazing and carefully addressed any our request. We had fresh milk every morning for our 1,5 y.o. son, which we appreciated a lot! We recommend this place to everyone looking for a cosy place in the heart of Alps!

Per chi vuole tranquillità è veramente l'ideale. L'appartamento è grande, attrezzato con tutto il necessario. All'interno dell'appartamento ci sono sia la lavatrice che la lavastoviglie. Supermercato molto rifornito a Fondo a circa 10 minuti dall'appartamento.

Panorama e tranquillità

Appartamento stupendo, immerso nella natura. Un torrente vicino casa per giocare coi bambini. C'è un coniglietto carinissimo a cui mio figlio si è affezionato. Dall'appartamento vista sulla natura meravigliosa., di notte si sente solo il ruscello. Comodo per raggiungere lago e cascata di Tret, lago Smeraldo, bunker di passo Palade... Host simpatico e molto discreto. Lo consigliamo molto.

Forse avrei gradito avere qualche cosa in più in casa (spugna, mollette bucato, detersivo).

Chalet stupendo e confortevole

Chalet stupendo con una bella veranda. Tutto ordinato, ben pulito e attrezzato di tutto. Al mattino molto apprezzato il latte appena munto e la vasca idromassaggio è stata una bella sorpresa direi un plus.Il proprietario è stato molto gentile x tutto il soggiorno sopratutto quando ha nevicato e ci ha accompagnato fin giù al paese per recuperare l' auto. Ci tornerei molto volentieri

Relax

Posto tranquillo con bella vista. Casa accogliente e calda. Bel giardino esterno con sdraio e zona barbecue. Forno e lavastoviglie funzionanti, lavatrice presente ma non testata da noi. Cucina attrezzata. Latte fresco ogni mattina :)

Mancanza del congelatore. Spesa extra per cane (10euro a notte, un po' eccessiva rispetto ad altre strutture che chiedono 20/30 euro fissi per pulizie supplementari). Il letto matrimoniale si è rivelato molto comodo ma anche particolarmente rumoroso in particolare il lato sinistro.
