About this house rental
Renovated stone family house in the middle of meadows and chestnut trees for lovers of calm and nature. It is organized around a living room with a fully equipped open kitchen and a sofa bed, 2 bedrooms and a mezzanine with a double bed and a single bed accessible from one of the two bedrooms downstairs. It has all the necessary comfort in the charm of the old. (Washing machine, dishwasher, coffee processor, oven, microwave oven, refrigerator, freezer). All windows have mosquito nets.
The accommodation
The house is located in the middle of meadows and chestnut trees, no road or neighbors within 300m. The house is located 600m from the road by a narrow but tarmac path. It is an ideal place to relax and a paradise for children if they like to play in the middle of nature.
Guests have access to the entire accommodation which includes:
- a living room with dining area, TV and sofa bed
- an open kitchen
-2 bedrooms with double bed (one with a ladder to access the mezzanine)
- a mezzanine with a double bed and a single bed (there are no necessary protections for young children)
- a cellar to store bicycles for example
- Bathroom and toilet are separate
The house is located 1 km from the town centre of Lamastre where you will find all the necessary shops as well as a very lively market on Tuesdays, and a farmers' market on Saturdays. It is also the arrival station of the picturesque steam train "le Mastrou" which goes up from Tournon along the Doux valley.
In terms of activities, you will find on site maps and tourist and hiking guides, some of which leave directly from the house. The river Le Doux is 300m away, the nearest tree climbing is in the Eyrieux valley 30 minutes away by car. The departure from the Dolce via is just below the house and allows you to discover the region by bike. You are 40 minutes from Tournon sur Rhone and the Valrhôna chocolate factory, from Valence and its famous Pogne or the Terres Adelice ice cream factory shop in Saint Sauveur de Montagut. The Ardèche is a rural department and many producers can open their farms to you. The specialties of Lamastre are chestnuts, berries (cherries, raspberries, strawberries) and of course goat's cheese. There is also a ping pong table on site.

Mes amis et moi même recherchions un logement propre, accueillant, agréable avec un coin de verdure autour de la maison.
Nous avons trouvé dans cette maison tous les critères recherchés. La maison n'a aucun voisin, la nature autour est belle. Toute la description de la location était précise et nous n'avons rien trouvé à redire dessus. La propriétaire est des plus aimable et accueillante, la communication pour préparer notre séjour ainsi que pendant nos vacances à été des plus facile.
En bref nous sommes absolument satisfait de notre location et recommandons vivement cette propriété ainsi que ses propriétaires si vous souhaitez passer des vacances au calme, loin de tout et sans prise de tête.
