About this house rental
Located in Hidden Valley off of Williamson Creek Rd in Pisgah Forest / Brevard, NC just 8 minutes from downtown Brevard, close to the Hospital and about the same distance to Pisgah National Forest and DuPont State Park. The Lodge is situated on a wooded corner lot with a pond on one side and a small stream on another. The lot backs up to a game trail and salt block where we regularly see deer, squirrels (white & grey), chipmunks, rabbits, fox and about every bird in the region.
New VRBO listing mid June, '20, privately managed for 8 years. Many of our guests look forward to returning annually and have visited here for years.
Although there’s lots to see and do in the area, some of our guests prefer to sit on the porch in the Sky Chair, sip their favorite beverage read a book and watch the wildlife. It’s truly a very unique experience. Please read our reviews!
THIS IS NOT YOUR TYPICAL RENTAL, there are very few like it! Very clean with lots of special touches. Our outside fire pit is a great place to hear the running stream below. Summer or Winter it’s a quiet restful spot in the Forest. Do Not miss booking this adorable cabin as it is often booked a year in advance. The house is sunny, bright, breezy and well appointed with upscale furnishings, antiques and local art. While we've not had any security issues we do have outside driveway security cameras that are motion activated. These were installed because of the national increase in Porch Pirates stealing deliveries. They are not viewed unless there’s an issue.
Come for a visit, stay awhile, we promise you won’t be disappointed!

This was an awesome jumping off point for our Pisgah Adventures. Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of wildlife, including a white squirrel!!! Mark was communicative and helpful. We will hopefully stay here again.

Location was great! Very little gravel road to drive and a very quiet, yet convenient, part of Pisgah Forest. Large house for 4 adults. Love the wildlife you can see from the porch or from standing in the living room. I'd definitely stay here again!

This will be the only place we stay when we come back to town. We've agreed to build our vacation around availability for this place. Everything was PERFECT. We got to see a white squirrel, a bunch of Deer, and the neighborhood cat Freya who was the sweetest little cat ever. Everything was clean, and set up perfect and was absolutely gorgeous. Close enough to town that trips weren't a headache but far enough away that you didn't feel close to a town or city. Worth every penny. Thank you to the owners for helping us to make so many great memories with our 3 boys!

Wonderful property! This cabin feels like you're tucked away in the woods but you're just minutes from the town for shopping, dinner, etc. The home is well appointed and relaxing. Seeing the white squirrels was a highlight! Deer visited the salt lick a few times and we saw plenty of birds and a chipmunk! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at White Squirrel Lodge.
