The apartment was very close to the slopes and not far from the centre. The communication was prompt and helpful once we contacted them.

We were only told on the way to the apartment that we had to pick the keys up from a different location and then try to find the location from a pin on a map and a picture. We found this quite stressful.

if you want a homely apartment close to slopes for a group of 4-6 it is certainly worth considering

Local to ski hire shop and shops/ restaurants. Good selection of kitchen utensils and cutlery etc. Warm apartment, quiet and good views from balcony

electrics were hard to understand - light switches and plugs. We were a group of 4 - it’s small for any more than 6.

Great Ski Holiday - lovely apartments with a lovely host! Recommend and would stay here again!

Lovely friendly hosts who were always on stand by to answer any queries. The location was great and only a short walk from the slopes + very close to the central town strip with all the restaurant/shops (less than 5 mins). The apartment building had lifts which was nice. The apartment itself was reasonably well- equipped in terms of the kitchen and bathroom. It also came with a tv with a Sky box though we didn't much use of it, though it was greatly appreciated. The balcony had a nice view and came in handy as a second fridge for chilling drinks :)

We had some trouble co-ordinating within the group largely due to only having 1 set of keys (more than 1 set would help with this). A similar issue when it came to the padlocks for the ski lockers - would suggest using combination locks. Some group members had some trouble operating the oven.

Perfect holiday apartment

Loved everything. The apartment was perfectly suited for our family of 4. The entire apartment is decorated in alpine style with lots of lovely decorative touches, giving it a true home-away-from-home feel. The beds were comfortable. The children loved the bunk beds. There is plenty of closet space and shelving in the apartment for our numerous ski jackets and suits. There is also a ski locker in the basement which was excellent. The kitchen is simple but certainly enough for us to cook proper meals. There was no shortage of plates/bowls/cutlery/glasses. The view of the mountains from the apartment is breathtaking. Aside from the apartment itself, the hosts themselves were what made our holiday so so special. Communication with Barbara was easy right from the start. She replied quickly and answered all questions. She was also quite flexible. Her husband, Paolo, met us on arrival in the evening with the keys and explained everything to us. We had minor issues in the apartment (burned out light bulb, missing plug adaptor) and those were resolved immediately without fuss. Barbara offered to meet us to show us where to buy nice food in Sestriere. She also invited us out for drinks and chats on New Year's Day. On our last evening, she arranged a special dinner at a restaurant up in the mountains along with her family and some of her visiting friends. It was a very nice experience for all. When you meet Barbara and Paolo, you know right away that they are sincerely welcoming you with an open heart. As it was our first time skiing, it was extra easy for us to have Paolo as our ski instructor. He was extremely patient with my daughter who was not too keen and quite nervous.
