Great location

Great location for getting out and about Everything is setup well for a stay with everything you need.

Bathroom needs a deep clean as ledges and bath surround has engrained dirt. Simple addition of a bath mat, hooks for clothes and towels would make a difference.

A wanna be vacation residence that has potential if cleaned and repaired.

Fairly quiet little house at the end of a narrow dead end street. Place was a past refurbished 2 bedroom up house little curb appeal. Everything worked it was quiet.

The house had no curb appeal with rubbish bins line up across the front. It was the last house where everyone parked on the street making it difficult to leave. The back yard was overgrown and unkept. Blackberry bushes were taking over. The clothes drying rack out side was falling down. The hose needed a deep cleaning. The windows w shades are in bad need of repair.

Perfect cottage, and the perfect location for Bike Park Wales.

RJ’s house is just lovely. Had everything we could have wanted, and was very well turned out. We were riding the incredible Bike Park Wales, and the location could not have been better. Beds were super comfy too, which after a days riding was an utter bobsend! Lovely garden which we didn’t make the most of, but would have if we’d had more time. Gavin popped by on our first night, and was super helpful and a lovely chap to chat too. Always good to meet nice folk 🙏🏻

Everything there that was needed Brill location Friendly neighbours Would stay again

Few cobwebs through the house ( I got them before we left) Back garden room for improvement, tidied up better, old toilet door in ruins........didn't spoil our stay but would just make it look and feel even better We loved it and would recommend to anyone

Hard to fault

very comfortable, well maintained. surprisingly quiet as nearby trains are so quiet we only realised they were close when I saw one on day two! Nice little garden to chill in with side access for bikes etc. I loved the fact there was a bath as well as a shower. I doubted the on street parking was something they should advertise as available but was totally wrong, we never had a hint of a problem parking as it's a no through road (currently Google maps shows it further up the road but I can assure you it is at the dead end of the street. Would definitely stay again for the value, quick owner email responses and the fact it was just jolly nice.

please note everything here is being very picky as I struggled to find any issues. The oven hob was a little useless and hard to use effectively. and erm err.. the bathroom sink plug leaked...errr nope that's it.

This visit was a disaster, but not because of the accommodation, but because of the fall.

We were happy with the parking facilities which is why we returned. The facilities were all we needed for a short stay.

Had made comments on our previous visit, most of which had not been actioned. There is a step into the kitchen which we had asked to be highlighted - it had not been and I fell and broke my right arm on arrival. have emailed but not received a reply. The lighting in the kitchen is low, had suggested that the bulbs be changed - this had not been done. Those looking after me could not get the cooker to work but as I was incapacitated cannot comment. WE DO NOT WANT THIS REVIEW TO BE ON THE WEBSITE AS IT IS GOOD ACCOMMODATION AND WE WOULD BE HAPPY TO RETURN. I WAS IN A HURRY ON ARRIVAL AND IF THE STEP HAD BEEN MARKED THE ACCIDENT WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED. THE FALL HAPPENED BEFORE WE HAD EVEN UNLOADED THE CAR.

I found the fan at the top of the stairs a little too noisy but couldn't work out how to switch it off. If you could write a little note somewhere about the fan switch that would help. Also, a few simple condiments would be great. Boiled an egg in the morning and would have liked salt and pepper with it, but couldn't find any.

Great size, easy to park, stones throw from the Brecon Beacons and bike park Wales

Perfect location for bike park Wales and a short drive to the Brecon Beacons. Despite being next to the train line we barely heard a thing. Comfy beds and nice modern kitchen. Brought my Dad to watch me ride at the bike park and it was his first trip to Wales! He loved it and is already asking when we can come back. Thanks for being so accommodating and for the early check in.

Tin opener didn't work and could have done with a couple of oven trays but nothing major. Would definitely return.

A lovely little house for a weekend

Lovely little house and felt very open for its size. Everything we needed was there and clean. It was the perfect location for our needs and will be back. Also don't be put off with it being by the train station, yes you hear it but it certainly did not detract from our stay.

Worth a try.

Nicest cosy cottage, close to shops. Comfortably located if you have a car to drive into places. Railway Station is only a short walk away. A weekend isnt enough but we msnaged a few places to visit. Brecon Mountain Railway not far away. Suit a family of 5.

Very good value for money

The listing page does not do justice to the property. There is free parking and also WiFi is available at the property. Also, we got the keys from the key lock outside the property and thus needed no-one to be there and we were thus not restricted by time. Gavin was very responsive on any questions I had before coming and was also very helpful. Having a 3 year old with us, the kitchen was an essential and had everything you would need for a short stay.
