A peaceful stay in a fantastic cottage.

This cottage was fabulous. The host, Simon, was very helpful. It was equipped to a very high standard and was exceptionally clean. It is located on a farm and is in a very peaceful spot with beautiful scenery all around. We spent many an hour down by the river that runs adjacent to the property and saw plenty of wildlife including kingfishers. It is a 10 minute drive away from Abergavenny which has all the shops you need.

Great host, everything you could have needed was provided for you. It was so clean and the area was quiet. I had the best sleep there.

A very restful week with plenty of fresh air and exercise in lovely surroundings.

The property was self catering and very well equipped. It was located in a very peaceful setting within easy reach of the village and Abergavenny. There were plenty of activities locally to satisfy different age groups in our party.

The cottage has a traditional exterior with a modern interior. It looks really well kept and maintained. The beds and sofas are really comfortable. It is peaceful and out of the way. It also is based on a gated secure premises with remote access which is great for safety and easy to use. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom is really nice. The views are good too and there is a lot of open land in the outside residence to enjoy. I visited with just my wife, so the space was ample for us.

Nothing - it was all beyond what we expected. We thought towels would be there on arrival but I did not read in the booking info that these are available but need to be requested in advance, so that's my fault to learn from. We arrived late on the evening so we purchased towels for ourselves after arrival. The TV on site isn't of the latest spec in case that matters to you - but we didn't visit this nice cottage or Abergavenny to watch TV anyway!

Excellent - very comfortable, lots of things to do both nearby and within easy reach by car.

Fantastic location, really lovely barn conversion, lots of space, well equipped kitchen, everything to a high standard, very pleasant place to stay.

We were warm enough but it would have been good to have extra duvets available. Instructions for the shower would have been handy, to find the properly warm mode earlier. These are minor things though - it was a great stay.
