Gorska Roža B&B

I liked the nice and casual approach of the owner.

Super aesthetic and very cosy B&B in an amazing location in the Slovenian mountains. Easy to reach, yet surrounded by nature and only a short drive from Bovec. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. One morning we had to leave very early for a canyoning adventure, and he prepared a generous breakfast and lunch package for us so we would not miss out on anything despite leaving before breakfast service. Everything was exceptionally well taken care of, from the delicious à la carte breakfast to the beautifully renovated rooms. The property is spotless, tastefully decorated, and combines modern comfort with the charm of a traditional mountain house. You can immediately feel the care and attention that has gone into every detail. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return if we visit the Soča Valley again.

If there is one thing to say, it would be to upgrade the lights in the room. But it's more of a nice to have than a necessity.

We had a wonderful stay at Gorska Roža! The accommodation was cozy and clean, located in a peaceful setting surrounded by nature – perfect to relax and unwind. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. They gave us great tips for places to explore in the Soča Valley, which made our stay even more special. We truly enjoyed the calm atmosphere and would love to come back!

The stay totally exceeded our expectations. Everything was brilliant, especially the hospitality of the hosts. Absolutely stunning view!

The weather in the mountains is unpredictable, so make sure you're prepared:)
