Tranquil, relaxing haven.

There is such a beautiful atmosphere in the house; you can tell the owners put a lot of love and attention into making it very special. My room was fantastic, with an extraordinarily comfortable bed and a very spacious and beautiful bathroom. The view from my room was stunning, and I was woken up by a blood-orange sunrise and birdsong each morning.

The shower was not intuitive to me, but that could just be me. The wifi dropped regularly, but to be honest, it was a relief, and didn't bother me. As I was there for five nights, it would have been nice to have access to a microwave just to reheat food, but again not a deal-breaker. I really enjoyed my stay.

Very central location and quiet area

The property was located inside the village which was lovely. It was very close to the restaurants and shops and the room and communal kitchen was spacious and well stocked with cooking equipment. The kitchen sink seemed to be blocked and took a very long time to drain. It was a lovely place to stay.

Calm authentic property inside St Paul de Vence town

a very nice little property inside St Paul de Vence town that really reflects its feeling and atmosphere. The house has only 3 rental rooms and a common space with a kitchen. The downstairs suite also has a tiny terrace with a table and two chairs. I really liked the feeling of the house (as if you are in the country side), its good energy, nice details, big bathroom. The bed was really big! and very comfortable. Very quite space, even though you have some cars parked just in front. The housekeeper was really nice too. I was lucky - the house was empty that night.

It is not a hotel or a guesthouse - it is a property that you can rent. So no reception, no breakfast or other more personalised services. For me it was fine though. It would have been nice to have more bathroom amenities, like hair conditioner (I was really missing it). You will only find soap there. And as other guests mentioned - it could be nice to have bathrobe, slippers, some sea-salt for the bath. Taxi doesn't enter inside the town - be ready to walk with the luggage, better through the left or the right side of the town (as there are stairs inside the city). The town is super tiny though - it will take you just few minutes. Also book restaurants in advance! the choice is not big and they get quickly full, especially during high season.

Beautiful location and fabulous shared kitchen

Fabulous location in town and great to have our own entrance in the basement room. The shared kitchen is beautifully designed and has a lovely view.

The room could do with a table. There is also minimal storage for clothes.

If you love well designed spaces, in a stunning location and with a great host, this is for you!

Very stylish and comfortable accommodation in a beautiful setting. There were lots of lovely details in the room and throughout the accommodation. All the directions from the host were spot on and access was super easy. The host was incredible, providing excellent information and really going the extra mile to be helpful and accommodating for our individual needs. Everything from start to finish was an absolute joy. We enjoyed meeting other guests (albeit briefly) who were staying at the same time and loved the communal space. If you love well designed accommodation, in a stunning location and with a great host, this is the property for you!

A nice and happy 2 nights stay in an amazing medieval house in an amazing medieval village.

My family simply loved the property because the leaving room, the kitchen and bathroons are so spacious, all fully and well equiped, comfortable, nice decoration and an perfect location. The cleanless was impecable. I think the house has a very good energy.

We have not a single complaint.

A beautifully designed room in the hilltop town of St Paul de Vence

The property is absolutely beautiful on the heart of Saint Paul de Vence. We loved the shared space and the small number of rooms (we never saw any other guests). Our room was beautiful with a full shower and stand alone tub. Walking distance to everything and an amazing AC which was necessary in July. There was a coffee maker in the common area for breakfast. Very quiet and peaceful.

Beautifully unique townhouse in the centre of charming Saint Paul

Fell instantly in love with this charming property the moment we arrived outside the front door. Oli had given very clear directions for accessing the property. Beautiful communal kitchen on the ground floor, with an honesty bar & coffee making facilities. Our room was beautifully decorated, large and spacious, with a private toilet and a stunning copper stand-alone bath. The views out the window to the valley below were like something from a postcard. Enjoyed returning to the house during the day to escape the heat and reading a book & enjoying the view. The whole house was clean. The location is so central and there is a car park very close by, you just need to brave the narrow streets and keep your nerve until you arrive there! Oli had provided a useful document with recommendations, wifi info, etc. and always responded to my messages on Booking. Would definitely recommend to a friend and would stay here again if I was lucky enough to return to this beautiful unique village.

Two very small comments- while the shower hose in the copper bath was perfect for us as a couple, it might not suit for friends travelling as the bath is in the main bedroom so you’d need to be very comfortable with one another!! Also the room wasn’t cleaned during our stay.

Comfortable wonderful premises in a beautiful location in the heart of St Paul de Vence

The property is fantastic but we found it difficult to find, but that is the nature of St Paul de Vence! The property itself is fabulous, with a communal kitchen with honesty box drinks available. The room was quiet and comfortable. The bathroom has a large bath and an excellent shower. It is a short walk into the heart of the village so you can begin exploring very easily. The decor is tastefully minimal, a storage space means the room will not be cluttered with bags. The window overlooks the valley. Good view and is generally quiet.

The door key for the room is very basic (the lock could be broken into) but the front door is coded; the risk of burglary is very low and you can lock things in your car as the parking is close to the premises. Not a complaint but a practical comment: the drive around the circuit road is extremely tight and there was one car park left, and parking is absolutely essential! Modern cars with backing video are pretty essential to navigate into the spaces. I did not know how to navigate into the old village, there are bollards to pass and a one-way very narrow road that takes you directly to the car park. A published map and a very clear access guide may be helpful. I had to call the supplied number to find the front door, probably a little shaken by the difficulty of driving around the tight roads.

Consider sending more detailed info to locate the apartment, as cellphone GPS signal stuggles to find exact location. Consider sending details of popular restaurants an week or more in advance, as we found a number of restaurants were fully booked. Make it clear on Booking.com that the kitchen and lounge is communal.

Loved the location, decor and facilities.

As the shutters are fragile we didn’t want to move, so a curtain would be fab for the mornings u feel lazy. Also didn’t realise we did not have access to the little outdoor terrace
