The house is on a ridge and faces west so you can enjoy the beautiful sunset over the mountains from the large terrace or pool area. From the terrace there are panoramic views of the mountains and the cities of Vence, St. Jeanett and La Gaude.

We had a fabulous holiday. Views simply stunning. House well equipped.A couple of things to note. We paid to rent linens, as well as bed linen this came with only one towel each when considering use of pool and showering this wasn't ideal.Whilst beautiful the house is on many levels with steep steps down to the pool area with no rail,plus a spiral staircase down to lower floor. Whilst it is clear the house is on various levels in the details this house would have accessibility issues for some with no knowledge prior to arrival. However noting the above it was overall a lovely house in a beautiful setting and an ideal base from which to explore.

Awesome place. Over-the-top view. Comfortable. Spacious. Very well appointed. Great kitchen. Not in the city, so you need a car. Nice area. Quiet. Great pool. Would stay here again.

At first the villa was as we expected, fantastic view of the mountains from a terraced villa in a residential cul de sac, short distance to Nice and close to the beautiful town of Saint Paul De Vence. As our two week holiday continued , it was evident that the villa needed updating and maintaining. The swimming pool had not been serviced on the saturday and it was clear that the chlorine levels not maintained . I notified the owner and he asked me to put in the cleaning tablets and hoover the pool and he would get the janitor in. There was then a blockage in the kitchen , which took two days for the janitor to come , who turned up at 8pm with a “plumber” and then in the dark with the pool lights on, maintained the pool. There was then a leak in our bedroom roof when it rained , which I notified the owner , who thanked me for letting him know, but did not offer any other advice or service. A couple of other things, was that The pool area had a section that held alot of rainwater that would not drain away and the table tennis table was warped with the bats and balls provided, being very tired.
It all sounds terrible , but we did have a good family holiday with the villa serving our needs , although not without problems. If the owner invests in the updating and maintenance of the property, it will be a fantastic place to vacation.
