Restored Apartment - Stunning Pantheon View

The location makes it feel like you aren’t missing anything when having to take a break from exploring. From people playing the accordion, violin or singing opera nearby on the street, it always felt like we were still a part of the action.

The listing should note that there is a full flight of stairs up from the elevator landing on the second floor, slightly fewer steps down from the third floor, and the steps themselves are uneven given their history.

I spent many hours trying to choose the best apartment for our 3 generation family of 5 in Rome and I definitely made the right choice. The location was perfect as we only had 3 days and it gave a sense of the history and vibrancy of Rome, especially for the 2 who had never been, while being within walking distance of all the main sites. Restaurants are on your doorstep in the Piazza della Rotonda and along the cobblestone lanes, there are 2 small supermarkets 3 mins away and there is a taxi stand on the other side of the piazza. Nicla and Francesco could not have been more helpful from the moment we booked til the taxi they booked arrived at the door of the building on the morning of departure. On the evening of our arrival our train from Austria was delayed and we therefore missed a connecting train. Francesco was instantly responsive and reassuring when I communicated each of these delays and was happily waiting for us when we arrived much later than anticipated. Having 3 bedrooms, 2 with views of the Pantheon, 3 bathrooms and an elevator was amazing for the location and price. We loved the lively atmosphere and being able to open the windows and watch the crowds and occasional music below. It was also lovely to see the Pantheon in front of you before the crowds arrive.

When we asked for more Toilet tissue and clean towels after 3 evenings, the host said they were a courtesy. I wouldn't mind buying more toilet tissue but not getting fresh towels for a 4 night 5 day stay isn't acceptable imho. However the host did provide both later. The TV didn't work and I couldn't get the stove to work.
