Pantheon Hedonism

The location is ideal - especially for a stay with a group. Five of us were very comfortable. Having three large bedrooms with our own bathrooms was great… but also a spacious kitchen/dining area to connect with each other. It‘s hard to arrange something like this in a hotel! Hosts were very accommodating as well! Always a quick text or call away.

The owner was very accessible and accommodating. Great place with plenty of space and it is in a great location.

The location is outstanding — as central as it gets, right by the Pantheon, which makes it incredibly convenient for exploring Rome. This is clearly the main advantage of the property. The apartment itself is decent and functional, suitable for a short stay.

Overall, the experience feels quite basic and limited to the essentials. The apartment is minimally equipped, with no small touches such as coffee or extra supplies, and only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, which feels insufficient. In addition, the entrance and common areas up to the first floor — where the apartment is located — were in very poor condition. From the moment you enter the building, there are visible signs of dirt and neglect, including rubbish and what appeared to be rodent traps. This creates a very negative first impression. While this is not solely the host’s responsibility, it significantly affects the overall experience. It feels like the property relies heavily on its exceptional location, without offering much beyond that in terms of comfort or hospitality. A bit more attention to guest experience and basic amenities would make a noticeable difference.

The apartment’s location was superb for sight seeing. Apartment is very roomy with lots of privacy and good working toilet/showers.

Ants in bathrooms, terrible smell in the kitchen, somewhere near the fridge, not enough towels for our stay, no garbage disposal instructions, communication was too slow.
