Quinta da Salada - Turismo Rural

Beautiful views, peaceful, quiet just what we needed.

Would’ve appreciated if the bathroom was more private, instead of just being a section of the room. Made it strange for when we had to use the bathroom somebody would go outside.

Absolutely gorgeous and picturesque. Quiet and relaxing after a day of touring around the Douro. Great breakfast.

Outdoor seating could be more comfortable, more and better cushions.

We got a warm welcome by Rui on the day of arrival. He helped us with some personal recommendations too. The room was cosy and comfortable. As was the bed and shower. The views here are amazing! In the evening we had a nice bottle of wine with a view of the valley. There were more than enough seating options outside. Even the farm cat, Garfield, came to say hi. Breakfast was nice too. More than enough options and a beautifully set table. We left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I wish we stayed here longer!

Nothing, but it might be good to know that you really want to travel here by car. It's the best way to discover everything the Douro valley has to offer. Also, we didn't mind that the toilet was 'open' in the room, but some other people might.

Room was beautiful, modern and felt like a lovely guest room in someone’s home…loved it. Perfect location for visiting nearby wineries! Pool, breakfast, outdoor sitting areas and the resident animals were all wonderful!!!

I was there with my sister, so the open bathroom concept required some minor logistics, but otherwise perfect!
