Sobreiro's Villa in Douro Valley

Aus einem alten Weingut wurde die Unterkunft gebaut. Sie war ursprünglich und mit viel Liebe zum Detail hergerichtet. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist abseits der Hauptrute des Dourotals in den Weinbergen gelegen und etwas schwierig zu finden. Im Ort ist es sehr ruhig und für Leute die so etwas suchen genau richtig. Das Haus verteilt sich auf drei Etagen was es für Menschen mit Handycap leider nicht brauchbar macht. Ansonsten können wir die Unterkunft ohne Bedenken jemandem der Ruhe und eine schöne Unterkunft sucht empfehlen.

Keine Toilette im Erdgeschoss. Küchenutensilien verteilt auf Küche und Speisezimmer (nervig hin und her zu laufen). Keine guten Parkmöglichkeiten an der Unterkunft.

The villa is split level with each room having picturesque views of the surrounding village and vines - magical. Extra special was the night sky where you can see the different villages in the valley along with the local church all lit up. We are a family travelling Spain and Portugal and the villa was a welcomed break from our previous location Porto. Our kids made full use of the pool and break out spaces in the villa to do school work before explored the region. The correspondence and recommendations from the owner ‘Fortunato’ enabled us to explore the many sites and experiences of the region.

L'emplacement est au calme vu sur la vallee du douro incroyable. Toutes les commodités necessaires dans la maison. Cependant l'emplacement nécessite un véhicule.

A well appointed and comfortable villa in a quiet rural location. Host was friendly and helpful, offering advice on things to see and do in the area.

Parking was not what we expected (a steep narrow public road outside the villa, not 'on site').
