Location is out of the way, but it suits the type of location. Breakfast was in a lovely area, and I rate it as good. All in all, a lovely place to stay with a great atmosphere. If possible, I recommend a stay of more than one night to experience the property: bedroom, general atmosphere, garden, dining room, breakfast. Wholesome. Historic building. I have been to many properties, and this would be in my top 5%
The bathroom is a little small, but still good

Beautiful property with lovely gardens and a (cold) pool. Breakfast was very good. The staff and owner were all very helpful and friendly.
The shower was good, but we did struggle to get it to maintain a consistent temperature.
Be aware that you do have to drive out to get bar/restaurant food (10/15 minute drive) there’s nowhere nearby within a walking distance.

Well located close to Peso da Regua, but in a very peaceful and quiet location. Immaculate grounds and accommodation. Friendly and helpful staff. The recommendations for local restaurants, wineries and excursions were super helpful. Just a lovely property.

Delicious croissants and yoghurt for breakfast.
The bread man delivers fresh bread to the house every morning.
It was nice to eat breakfast sitting outside..the food was left out for us to help ourselves.
The garden is beautiful..a real delight.
We didn't use the pool but it's very pretty.
Views around the house are amazing...terraces all around.
A farm 5 minutes away offers wine tastings.
Lovely owner and very patient lady who saw us in, who went over and beyond what was necessary.
Nothing.
