Location, quiet, romantic, clean, host was exceptional even though we had to communicate via google translate.

The open bathroom concept was too open. I would at least enclose toilet area.

Lovely stay with great host

Property was in a quiet, safe location. Easy to drive and explore other locations from here. We had loads of room, children had a separate bedroom which was fab. Sarah was great, we couldn’t speak each other’s language very well but she did a great job with the use of Google translate! We would highly recommend.

We would have preferred a higher shower head so we could stand in the bath but we survived!

We had a wonderful stay! The owner, Sarah, was very warm and welcoming. The room was beautifully decorated and spotless. The bathtub was huge, big enough for two people to comfortably lie in. Breakfasts were delicious every morning. There’s also a lovely terrace to relax on. Even though Sarah spoke French and we spoke English, communication was smooth and easy with no problems at all.

A beautiful location surrounded by mustard seed flower fields and clean rooms

One room had bunk beds and for adults in their early 60s it wasn’t most ideal but for one night it was fine

Superb

We only spent one night at Le cosy de sarah but it was lovely. The room was spacious, very confortable and beautifully furnished. We particularly appreciated the fridge with bottles of fresh water and the tea and coffee making facilities. Sarah was really nice and welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. We highly reccomend staying here, also for the reasonable distance to Etretat and the area's attractions.

Fab little hidden gem

We received the warmest welcome at Le Cosy de Sarah. We booked a family room which exceeded our expectations. The room was fantastic - comfortable and clean. There was a selection of toys in the children’s room - such a thoughtful touch and very much appreciated by our two girls. Breakfast was great and staff couldn’t have been more accommodating despite our lack of French skills. 100% recommend this little gem!

Nice family stay close to Etretat

Very nice family stay close to Etretat. My 8-year old loved her room with the toys while I appreciated the terrace. Sarah is a great host! I recommend this place.

The double bed in the adults room is comfortable but is rather narrow (1.40cm?). So I decided to sleep in the spare bunk bed, which worked out very well but of course is not an option for those with two children.

Amazing, quiet place in the French country side. Lovely ambience and attention to the details. We loved our stay there. It is very close to Etretat and in the same time far away from tourists which makes it nice to relax after a long day out. We loved the breakfast too.

location was ideal in the middle of the countryside, not far from Etretat; warm welcome from Sarah; very nice rooms with lovely decoration; ; breakfast was very nice in a room shared by all guests; good indication from Sarah about where to have dinner

Large and clean room, very comfortable, you could feel that everything is made with love! Very friendly staff, even though they do not speak English, it didn't prevent us from communicating. Delicious and fresh breakfast. And just 10 minutes by car from Etretat's beach - it was easy to find. Free parking right outside the hotel. I will definitely come back here again!

We liked everything about Le Cosy de Sarah. From her kindness and friendliness to the immaculate condition of the entire facility. Every corner, every detail of the rooms and the common areas was well thought out in terms of design and cleanliness. We felt like we were staying in someone's home. The rooms were super comfortable and clean, the kids room had also all kinds of board games and books for toddlers. The hosts were super friendly and polite.

The included breakfast was a little basic but I suspect this is because we were traveling out of season.

A lovely place with a lovely hostess. We enjoyed every second of our warm and cozy stay. It is located in the prettiest region I've seen, beautiful fields just minutes away from the cliffs. Very big rooms and very clean. Highly recommended.

Sarah makes the difference

Super clean and large room; storage solutions suitable also for longer stays (e.g. a large vanity unit with plenty of under sink storage); microwaves and other facilities in the common area; Sarah is a very attentive and passionate host – her presence does make the difference in the overall experience.

If you want to enjoy such a comfortable room with your small private yard at an affordable price, be ready to drive ten minutes to reach Etretat. However, the roads are always clean and you’ll discover beautiful rural landscapes. The plastic sheet under the bed sheets was indeed a bit noisy.
