Great little place, modern, clean, quiet and close to town and the countryside. Highly recommend!

It was very cute - nice decoration, comfy bed, fantastic shower. Also exceptionally clean and quiet. The owners very kindly let me check in super early as well.

I hadn't brought any shampoo or body wash as I hadn't thought - it might be nice if that were provided.

Short stay but I'll come back for a longer trip

Cozy and comfortable apartament 5 min far from Namur train station. Kitchen with all the stuffs you may need and 2 bottles of artisanal beer as a wellcome gift.

Cosy rural retreat beside the stunning city of Namur

If like me, you're vetting the location in advance to see how commutable it is to the city centre, then it's worth noting that whilst it shows as a 30min walk, parts are pretty steep; fine for rambling down into Namur but not great when marching back later in the evening; also sections of the walkway can be relatively narrow, so not that comfortable — I found the safest option was to walk into the city in the morning and get a taxi back out in the evening/nighttime. Michel, the host, generously offered to drive me in on the first evening, which was very much appreciated given that I'd arrived late and was unfamiliar with the route down to Namur centre. Michel et Bénédicte are fantastic hosts; the fridge was kindly stocked with a few locally brewed craft beers (greatly appreciated after an exhausting, long day of travelling). Due to my appalling French, communication was challenging; however, Michel did his utmost to ensure I understood everything I needed to know in the apartment, then left me undisturbed for the few days I stayed but with the reassurance that if I did need anything, they were on hand. This came to full fruition on the last day when my taxi to the train station let me down, and Michel, once again, kindly drove me into town. The accommodation itself is impeccably clean, contemporary and comfortable. Previous reviews mention the noise/smell of the location being on a farm, but I felt that only added to the charm. Highly recommend

Great value for money

Host is very friendly and contacted me once I booked. He also replies really fast when I have questions. Good location if you like quiet neighbourhood. There is a bus nearby every hour going to the city centre but I did enjoy walking there (30 min) too. You can also rent the bike from the host with a cost. The apartment is clean and has everything you’d need, including Netflix. The bedroom is upstairs and super quiet at night. Very thoughtful indoor lighting instalments.

It’s not something bad but since the it’s apartment is next to the farm, sometimes there can some smell. Definitely not a big problem though. The bedroom can be a bit hot at night but the host prepared a fan so not an issue either.

Perfect - Nothing more you could wish for

The place was more that we could wish for. Spotlessly clean, very spacious with well equipped kitchen. It is very quite area, walking distance to village Bouge with very tasty Boulangerie and town of Namur. Fully recommend stay for few days.

Exceptional

A perfect location. A walk away from the city but located in a quiet neighbourhood connected to the fields. I really recommend this place. The hosts are very nice people and very creative and handy too. Besides milk and cheese, they also know their way in creating unique chairs and other furniture.

Great place to stay. The apartment is brand new, it is very cozy and comfortable. The location (at a farm) is original and hosts are very nice and friendly. Nice walk to the city center. The fresh milk and the local beers in the apartment were a very nice gesture.

Deze duplex is werkelijk een pareltje; de inrichting is modern en smaakvol, waardoor je je meteen thuis voelt. Het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien en brandschoon. Een uitstekende matras staat garant stond voor een heerlijke nachtrust. De ligging aan de binnenkoer van de melkerij is een meerwaarde. Parfait pour un séjour à Namur

Gîte à la ferme. Logement au calme, propre, très bien décoré et spacieux. Petite terrasse pour les beaux jours. Hotes très gentils et répondant rapidement a nos demandes. Parking dans la ferme devant le logement.

Un peu excentré du centre ville comme le logement est dans une ferme. Mais quand on a une voiture le centre ville se rejoint très rapidement et facilement.

Petit séjour au calme

Comme une petite maison, très moderne, agréable pour 1 ou 2 personnes en pleine campagne. Petite cuisine avec frigo, petit congélateur, micro-ondes combiné avec four, taqué de cuisine, lave-vaisselle, bouilloire, machine à café Dolce Gusto, et tout le matériel nécessaire pour cuisiner, ce qui était très important pour moi ayant des allergies alimentaires, je ne peux pas aller manger au restaurant, ni m’acheter des plats préparés !!! Intermarché à 5 min en voiture et j’ai vu un restaurant à proximité !!! Accueil très sympathique.

Peux t’être que du gel douche, une housse de couette et une taille d’oreiller aurait été les bienvenus, mais j’ai été prévoyante !!!

Unkompliziert bis auf Verständigungsprobleme, da wir nicht französisch sprechen und der Vermieter kein Englisch.

Für das Oberbett haben wir keinen Bettbezug vorgefunden... Zur und in der Wohnung gibt es jeweils eine Treppe, dies sollten Besucher bei körperlichen Einschränkungen berücksichtigen.

Leuk duplex appartement, mooi ingericht, heel netjes en voorzien van alle comfort. Gelegen op 30 min wandelen (2,5 km) van het centrum van Namen. Hou wel rekening met een een stevige klim als je terug wandelt. Heel aangenaam onthaal door de gastvrouw. Excellente prijs/kwaliteit verhouding.

We vonden niet meteen hoe we de veluxramen moesten verduisteren boven de leefruimte.

Schöner Aufenthalt in Namur

Es ist alles perfekt eingerichtet und die Vermieter sind sehr nett. Die abgeschlossene Ferienwohnung liegt in einem Vierkanthof, ein klein wenig außerhalb vom Stadtkern. Das Auto steht sicher im Hof. Wir haben frische Milch für Kaffee und Frühstück bekommen, sehr lecker. Der Weg zu Fuß in die Stadt ist machbar, aber das letzte Stück zurück geht stark bergauf. Unterhalb des Hügels gibt es einen Parkplatz, der bezahlt werden muss, oder Anlieger-Parkplätze, auf denen man 3 Stunden kostenlos stehen darf. In die Stadt würde ich nicht mit dem Auto fahren.

Heerlijk verblijf in prachtige omgeving!

Rustige Gite op een boerderij aan de rand van Namen. Gezellig, goed ingericht, heerlijk bed en ruim! De eigenaar sprak ook Nederlands! Dectrapnwas heel goed verlicht en alle ramen konden met een druk op de knop verduisterd worden.

Alleen het water van de douche liep niet goed weg. Verder geen aandachtspunten.

Met wat aandachtspunten een prima suite op hoogte aan de rand van Namen

De suite is een mooie suite op een boerenerf. Het ziet er leuk uit, bed is prima en voldoende faciliteiten. Eigenlijk een heel prima beoordeling. Leuke plek en in het beperkte contact heel aardige uitbaters.

De handdoeken werden niet vervangen tijdens ons verblijf van 5 nachten. De wc borstel was erg vies. Ook de oven is niet fris. Geen zeepje bij de wastafel is niet prettig. Deze punten (hygiëne) samen met het niet leveren van ontbijt (hetgeen bekend was bij boeking) dat de prijs-kwaliteit aan de hoge prijskant is. Daarom geen 8-9 maar een 6. Met enige aandacht is hier gemakkelijk een veel hogere beoordeling te scoren.

Aangename, rustige plaats met alle voorzieningen, dichtbij centrum Namen.

Leuk om te verblijven op een boerderij, terwijl je in de gite niet het gevoel hebt dat je op een boerderij logeert. Heel dichtbij Namen. Ideaal voor wie van rust houdt.

Quelques remarques mais très bon séjour

Bon emplacement Beaucoup d'équipements de cuisine de quoi cuisiner 2 jours au moins et un lave vaisselle dans la cuisine Les fenêtres du toit sont équipées d'un système pour ne pas entendre la pluie qui claque sur les vitres ! On avait jamais vu ça et franchement ça à bien réduit le bruit, c'était top Endroit plutot moderne, assez cosy, relaxant, permet de lâcher prise Vraiment bon rapport qualité-prix

Le lit est composé de 2 matelas qui se séparent parfois Les lumières "vibrent" un peu - clignotent et on s'est retrouvé avec de l'eau tiède après 20 min de douche (c'était la saison froide donc on devait aussi chauffer l'habitation) On entend quand même fort le bruit de l'extérieur (voitures surtout et aussi pluie et vent mais ça c'est moins dérangeant)
