Excellent stay

Spotlessly clean. Location handy for us as is close to family, didn't need to use it but bus stop is tight outside. Tea and coffee topped up daily. Comfortable bed. Basic room but what more is needed when you are out all day, lovely knowing you have a clean, quiet room to return to.

A nice place, but very minimalistic

The room was very clean and had everything that was needed. It was very easy to check in as they sent me the info to open the door and the lock with our room keys well ahead of time.

It is very far from the train station; about 20 minutes walking. Any noise from the hallway is also very loud. Although we had everything we needed, it was ONLY what was needed- it was a very minimalistic room.

The residence is at a very loud area, we couldn't sleep for 3 nights due to the noise. The bedsheets were visibly dirty and had a lot of hairs. The shower had no curtain so there was no way to contain the water flowing out... and yet, when we were leaving the owner of the hotel complained about the bathroom and literally called us 'pigs'. I have never been treated so poorly in any hotel or place. If I could, I would make a public complaint.

Good place to stay in Hamburg.

Nice room, good facilities, wifi was great. Great transport links and a 1 minute walk to three supermarkets

Location is a little far away, but a 10 minute bus ride takes you to the train station. Takes about 30-40 mins to get into Hamburg center. The floor in the room needs a brush and mop. Walking barefoot was like walking on the pavement outside.

good value for money and easy transport routes into the city center, lovely facilities and perfectly clean. Balcony is a huge plus as nice place to sit in the evening

Quiet, convenient, clean and cosy!

Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and well-appointed. No-frills, but I like it that way! The roof terrace is great for an early morning cup of tea and we felt safe at all times. There is a bus stop right outsidr that takes you straight to Barmbek U-Bahn - very convenient! Three supermarkets and a drug-store within 3 blocks of the hotel.

The only thing I could suggest would be a roof or shade for the terrace - it gets really hot in the afternoons!
