About this villa rental

The Villa is a traditional-style stone construction, built in 2009, which is situated less than 10 minutes' walk from the coast in one of the most beautiful areas of Greece offering peace, privacy & relaxation with luxury standards.

Just a few minutes drive from the wonderful fishing villages of Nea Skioni and Loutra as well as many fantastic beaches on the peninsula of Kassandra, Halkidiki.

The Villa has natural stone walls, traditional wooden doors, windows and shutters, ceramic terracotta tiles and an attractive interior design with coordinating furniture. There is a full TV system with surround sound, super fast Starlink Wi-Fi, small HiFi and full size Miele kitchen appliances.

The professionally designed property has been built to a high specification and offers the upmost in comfort and style. Set in the middle of a beautiful olive grove surrounded by hills, there is also a lovely sea view from the front balcony. The villa boasts a wonderful, enclosed garden with a private swimming pool for your own use.

Bedroom Nr1 has balcony overlooking the forest, a double bed and open wardrobe, bedroom Nr2 has a double bed and open wardrobe, bedroom Nr3 has a double bed, a single sofa bed and a south facing balcony with sea view. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and air conditioner units. Two bathrooms - the main bathroom upstairs has a large shower enclosure, WC, double wash basin - smaller downstairs bathroom also has large shower enclosure, WC, & wash basin. Quality kitchen with German Miele electrical equipment, large fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob. Small utility room with washing machine and cleaning equipment. Open plan living space with defined lounge, kitchen and dining areas. The living room has a large LED flat screen TV, HiFi, CD, Sat TV. There are sun loungers, static parasols and a portable BBQ in the garden. Beach parasols too. We provide towels, beach towels, linen, so no need to bring anything.

Important Information!!!!!
At the end of each stay there is a cleaning/laundry charge of 100Euros. We can only except bookings starting on the weekends Friday Saturday or Sunday in the summer months June, July Aug. No mid-week bookings will be accepted.

We had a lovely 2 week stay at Villa Brookshaw in September 24. The villa is situated in a valley a short 5 minute drive from the town of Nea Skioni. The villa is very homely and well appointed and included everything needed for our stay. The outside and pool area was lovely with lots of seating, sunbeds with parasols and a BBQ. You can even enjoy the sea view from the upstairs balcony. The drive from the main road to the house is along a dirt road which can be a little challenging, particularly after the rain we had during our stay. However, this is offset by the peaceful surroundings and the beautiful views down the valley. The peace was broken on occasions by the sound of Cow Bells, or in this instance Goat Bells as the farmer was moving his herd of goats. Claire is very friendly and approachable and communication was excellent, she would respond immediately to any request. Nea Skioni is a small but pretty harbour town with a nice beach and a few restaurants and tavernas, mostly specialising in fish and seafood. For a wider choice of restaurants and tavernas you would need to look a little further afield. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful villa and will have no hesitation in returning sometime in the future.

Spacious villa located in a lovely environment, with a reasonable distance to the main road to experience quiteness. Claire was very helpful to us. One remark: it would be serviceable to to see some some signs on the gravelroad up to thr villa 😁

We had a lovely week here, despite the wasps and mosquitoes! Claire was amazingly efficient and answered any queries instantly. Lovely pool and well kept villa. Very quiet and tranquil despite being close to fab beaches and tavernas. Would definitely recommend!

What an amazing week, the pool was exquisite, villa with everything you need, location tranquil and beautiful! Plus not a far drive to the beaches and towns. Aircon in the bedrooms was a godsend! Definitely need a car to get to places. Closest beach not very big and used for private functions a few times during our stay, and the kiosk wasn't open for any refreshments at all. Villa and pool really nice and spacious. And well equipped.

Just returned from a wonderful 14 days stay in the Villa. Everything was just as described. It is a very quit peaceful area. The pool was fabulous and spent many a relaxing hour either in or around the pool. We ate out most of the time and found some very nice tavernas in Neo Skeoni. Just a 15 minute drive away is Hanioti and spent several of our evenings there too. Beaches in the area are great and very safe for small children. Mike looked after us very well and popped in to check the pool and make sure everything was ok every few days. Overal I would definitely return here one day. It is a little remote and no wifi or very little phone signal (not a problem) Thanks again to both Mike and Michael. Kind regards Jon

Amazing place for a holiday

The villa is lovely, set up in the olive grove where it is nice and peaceful. There is a lovely restaurant at the start of the track on the beach that serves really good food although we did find this the most expensive place to eat and drink. It's a 5 minute car journey to Nea Skioni where there is a beautiful beach and lovely restaurants. All the mosquito nets on the windows in the villa are broken so we did have a nightmare with getting bitten. Being in that location you do expect it but we did play splat the mossie every night before bed. When sitting on the patio we lit the bbq most nights as it seemed to keep them away. Definitely take spray with you. They seem immune to the little spiral scented smoke deterrents. Everything is in the villa that you require for your stay and if there is something you need then Mike the caretaker is super helpful. Nothing was an issue and he can tell you some of the best places to go. He popped in every couple of days to check the pool and was easily contactable if needed. The location was lovely but you definitely need a car. We tried out most of the beaches and villages around the peninsula and they are all just beautiful. But make sure you take the extra insurance out on the car for the tyres and underneath of the car. Definitely worth it!! One thing to bare in mind is if you have young children that you have to keep quiet during the hours of 2pm and 5pm for siesta. So lazy afternoons around the pool with the kids isn't an option unless they are really quiet. There is very little signal at the villa and no WiFi (which was fine for us), and the TV is in German so again if you have kids maybe download some films on an ipad for when they want to chill out of the sun. We have been to several of the Greek Islands and thought we would try mainland for a change. We weren't disappointed.

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in der Villa sehr genossen.Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut.Es fehlt wirklich an nichts.Die Betten sind so gut wie bei uns zu Hause.Man schläft traumhaft.Der Verwalter Mike ist mehrmals die Woche da und schaut nach dem Rechten.Er hilft repariert,reinigt den Pool.Die Tipps von Mike zu Stränden und Restaurant sind super.Das Restaurant Galliagria in Nea Skioni können wir wärmstens empfehlen.Der einzige Nachteil sind die vielen Stechmücken.Alles in allem ein erholsamer toller Urlaub.

The property was exactly as described but the garden around the property and scenery were beyond expectation. The owner was very helpful and friendly (and was staying in the villa at the same time we were there) and was very welcoming. The manager Mike was also very helpful and friendly, on time to meet and greet etc. We had the use of the new pool which our children loved. If you want a property that isn't surrounded by lots of other properties and you enjoy the peace and quiet then this is the place for you. Location wise we preferred to stay on this side of Kassandra in the day for the nice quiet beaches and then head 20 minutes drive over to the other side in the evenings to Pefkouri etc for a bit more atmosphere with shops, restaurants etc. We have just booked to stay in this property again this year.

House is exactly as stated. Great very quite location. Very sunny spot. Pool is fabulous and equipment supplied are top notch! Kitchen is a joy to use. Its very near two wonderful real Greek villages that offer multiple choice eating, beaches and friendly people. It is a quiet area, great for relaxing and near numerous beaches for swimming etc. All clean and well equipped with A/C and large TV. However no WiFi? Very friendly and local British gardener/help that is a mine of local info-use him he will tell you where to best value food and drink places are.You must have a car, distance from airport is as stated in blurb. All good would go again in few years Thanks.

A really special place tucked away in a very quiet setting (apart from the bells around the necks of the local sheep herd). Very well kept with everything you could need and an excellent pool, perfect for adults and small kids. A short walk to the nearest beach bar and a five minute drive to the nice fishing village of Nea Skioni.

This was our second visit to Nea Skioni and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely property The villa is beautiful, comfortable and very clean, and the kitchen is fully equipped. It is really tranquil sitting in the pretty garden and swimming in the delightful pool. Nearby restaurants are good value and the staff friendly. There are some great beaches dotted around this peninsula - all within easy reach, and we enjoyed trying out some water sports at very reasonable prices. The owner is really helpful, as is the local caretaker who gave us some great advice about places to visit. Can't fault it!

We stayed for a week in the middle of September and had a truly great time. The villa is beautifully built and has everything you could want. The pool is stunning and we spent most days relaxing outside. Mike, the caretaker, is also very helpful and attentive to any issues that arose. Thanks for a great time!

We had a great holiday at Michael s house if you want to get away from everything and relax in luxury this property is for you. We all enjoyed the well maintained Pool and the country setting with the local very friendly shepherd rounding up his sheep in the evening. Mike 2 who looks after the property is a very friendly helpful person, giving loads of tips about the area and golden tips like ignore any speed cameras there's no film in them. We would love to return again to Michael s house it's a home away from home ! and thanks Michael for all the pre holiday very friendly helpful advice about the area.

We had stayed 1 week in the beginning of this September at the large villa and we enjoy perfect time and we felt like home in the villa. The location is very beautiful and the house provides you all what you need to enjoy the stay and i recommend also further for other guests. What i recommend is a beautiful beach at 17 km from the villa near Paliouri city, is Koursaros beach, we had been almost each day and enjoy it.

We have stayed there for a week with a small doggie. The house was amazing, and we loved the big swimming pool. The owners of the house were helpful and gave us all information what we need. The caretaker (Mike) is a lovely person, he came every second day and checked everything. This was our first holiday in this part of Greece, but I can recommend it everybody. The nearest beach is very quiet and it was the best with our dog. The other beach is about 2,5 km with lot of people and lots of taverna. We just loved it, and will return in the future. Wir sind als 5-köpfige Familie gereist und haben uns in dieser Natursteinvilla sehr wohl gefühlt. Besonders der Pool wurde gern und häufig von den Kindern genutzt. Das Haus ist vollständig und zweckmäßig ausgestattet, es fehlte uns nichts. Die Schlüsselübergabe klappte problemlos, der lokale Manager des Hauses war war wie vorher abgesprochen vor Ort. Kleinere Probleme wurden schnell und unkompliziert gelöst. Die Kommunikation lief auf Englisch, das war aber kein größeres Problem. Insgesamt ziehen wir ein äußerst positives Fazit und würden gerne wiederkommen.

Wir verbrachten im Haus wundervolle Tage, sehr ruhig gelegen und sehr gut ausgestattet. Mike, der Manager vor Ort war immer ansprechbar hat sich super gekümmert. Wir haben den Pool ausgebieg genutzt und genossen. In der Nähe sind nicht nur schöe Strände zum baden, sondern auch tolle Buchten zum Schnorcheln. Wir können das Haus nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt mit 2 Paaren mit insgesamt 3 Kindern. Sowohl der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter, als auch die Betreuung vor Ort durch Mike waren optimal. Die Schäferei in der Nachbarschaft mit ihren Hunden ist teilweise unangenehm bei Nacht, das betrifft aber nur ein Schlafzimmer und ist bei geschlossenem Fenster kein Problem. Die Nachbarn oberhalb sind nicht erfreut über die Vermietung und erwarten, dass die Kinder bis 10 Uhr ruhig sind. Wir haben uns dadurch nicht stören und nicht beeindrucken lassen.

Wir hatten bei der Anreise ein paar Startschwierigkeiten die aber ernst genommen wurden. Alle Mängel wurden am nächsten Morgen durch den sehr engagierten Housekeeper Mike behoben. Dieser war auch schnell vor Ort und hat sich super um alles und vor allem auch den herrlichen Pool gekümmert. Leider ist das Haus durch die Stufen im Wohnbereich und den offenen Pool nicht Kleinkindtauglich. Auch der sehr schlechte Mobilfunkempfang sowie der fehlende Telefon und Wi-Fi Anschluss sind als Nachteile zu nennen. Die Straße zum Objekt ist unbefestigt und hügelig. Wir hatten zum Glück keinen starken Regen, sonst wären wir wohl fest gesessen. Wer es ruhig und abgeschieden mag und selbst ruhig ist, ist dort sehr gut aufgehoben. Uns fehlten die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Nachbarn sind ebenfalls wenn sie vor Ort sind sehr lärmempfindlich was ich bei einer Ferienregion in der laute Musik von der Beachbar bis hoch in die Berge schallt nicht ganz nachvollziehen kann. Mittagsruhe ja ab 22 Uhr Nachtruhe eher nicht - wir sind nicht in Deutschland. Alles in Allem war es ein schöner kurzer Ausflug...

Tot rust komen in dit geweldige verblijf

Wij hebben volop genoten van ons verblijf in deze prachtige villa! We zijn een week geweest met 7 personen. De villa is zeer compleet ingericht: prima keuken met voldoende servies, bestek en apparatuur, goede bedden met beddengoed en goede kussens, zeer veel handdoeken in alle maten (inclusief badlakens). Het prive zwembad is een heerlijke luxe, zeker met kinderen. Wij hebben heel veel buiten geleefd; er zijn voldoende tuinstoelen, een grote eettafel, een loungehoek en 4 ligstoelen. De communicatie met de eigenaar vooraf liep heel prettig, maar ook ter plekke gaat dat prima. De beheerder, Mike, is een zeer aardige man die alle vragen graag voor je beantwoord. Wij hebben een aantal uren geen stroom gehad. Na een berichtje aan Mike is hij dat probleem meteen komen oplossen. Ook komt hij elke paar dagen het zwembad schoonmaken. Ons enige minpuntje is dat de weg naar de villa toe een zeer hobbelige, niet verharde weg is. Wij waren blij de huurauto's weer onbeschadigd in te kunnen leveren na deze week. Keerzijde is dat de villa op een schitterende plek ligt, volkomen in rust tussen de olijfbomen. Het enige wat je geregeld hoort is de schaapherder met zijn kudde, wat wij heel charmant vonden. Al met al een super vakantie gehad, grotendeels door een prachtig verblijf waar niets aan ontbreekt.
