Puke is a nice little town 2 minutes walk away. Several supermarkets in town and several cafes, bars and restaurants - despite booking.com stating these facilities are around an hour’s drive away. We can recommend Bar Puka for a drink and Restaurant Universe for dinner.
The beds at the property are comfortable once you lie down. But they are very low (ca. 30 cm from floor level) so not recommended for people with mobility issues.

Puka out of season has limited places to eat dinner although our host gave us a recommendation

Clean, tidy, available last minute. Good price. Warm room, comfy bed. Nice bathroom facilities. Great to park car off road. We didn’t have to opportunity to have breakfast as we had to leave so early, but they offered to get up early for us to make something. We mentioned it would be before 7am so not to worry. Helpful staff.
