Holiday Inn Express - Nice - Grand Arenas by IHG

This hotel is exceptionally well located for an early morning flight -- just a 5-minute walk to Terminal 1. It is very clean and very comfortable. Although breakfast is included in the room price, they don't start serving until 6:30am, so we were unable to partake. They told us the hotel provided a "grab and go" breakfast as a courtesy to early travelers, but that turned out to just be a basket of small granola bars and cookies. No coffee or tea is available to travelers who must leave earlier either, though there is instant coffee available in the rooms.

We had reserved a room with two twin beds and, upon arrival, were told that because we had booked it through Booking.com, it was not a true reservation but rather just a request and they would not honor it, which was obviously annoying since we were under the impression we'd actually reserved a room with twin beds. Not sure if that's an issue with the hotel itself or with Booking.com, but I would not have booked this hotel if I'd known we might end up in a double bed.

Asked for an extra duvet, but the receptionist said the house keeping team is closed and he has no access to it. I waited from 7pm to 10pm and the staff brought me some bed sheets instead.
