'The Palms' is a completely restored unit on the second floor of a historic Charleston home. Relax with the added privacy and quiet of the top floor.
The Palms can accommodate up to 13 guests between 4 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, large kitchen, and living room.
Flex Bedroom #1 – King bed (or two twins) + Ensuite bath
Bedroom #2 – King bed + Ensuite bath
Bedroom #3 – King bed + Ensuite bath
Flex Bedroom # 4 – King bed (or two twins) & Twin bed + Ensuite bath
* All ‘Flex’ rooms can be converted from King beds to two twins when requested*

Each unit is equipped with coded locks that are changed regularly. You will receive all important check-in information 3 days prior to arrival.
Early check-in or late check-out requests are evaluated and granted on a case-by-case basis. We offer a luggage storage space with a coded lock for all Spring Islands guests to use as needed.

Other Things to Note:
Pet Policy: Town & Island Co. welcomes pets. There is a $125 non refundable pet fee. 2 pets maximum. You are responsible to inform us you are traveling with your pet(s).
Severe Weather Policy: If a Mandatory Evacuation Order is issued by the Governor of SC, your stay will be refunded. However, if a Mandatory Evacuation Order is NOT issued by the Governor of SC, then the standard cancellation policy will still apply and no refund will be issued.

There were 10 ladies celebrating our 60th birthdays. The home accommodated all 10 of us very well. It was very well laid out and the large outside deck was wonderful for drinking our morning coffee. The kitchen was stocked with anything you may need such as coffee cups, bottle openers etc. We took advantage of the pool to cool off a couple of days and there is a market at the end of the block for last minute essentials. King Street/downtown was a short cab ride from the house. We enjoyed our stay very much and didn’t want to leave. I highly recommend renting at The Palms.

We truly enjoyed the property and the location provided easy access to all of the local attractions! It was clean and the owners were easily accessible and checked on us throughout our stay. We didn’t have any issues or needs during our stay, which is rare at a vacation rental. I highly recommend and will stay again when I visit the city.

The home we stayed in was gorgeous and in a great location. However my group had some issues with property management. We were a group of 7 and we quickly ran out of paper towels, toilet paper and trash bags because there weren’t extras left. It took a full day (9am -9pm) of talking with the management group to get two extra toilet paper rolls on the last night. When we got there we had a bit of a fruit fly problem that never went away. One of the wine glasses had a big crack in it and trying to figure out where the pool is was somewhat of a struggle because there was nothing listed about its location on the property.
