Villa Kusamakura Seminyak

This villa was the most satisfying place we stayed during our 40+ day trip. Everything was excellent, from the facilities and amenities to all the thoughtful touches provided throughout the property. It was hard to find anything to complain about.

Pool is perfect temperature, which we loved. Nothing worse than a pool so cold you can't swim in it. Rooms were clean and big. Beds big and firm. Airconditioning in the bottom bedroom didn't work well on the first night but we asked for it to be fixed and they did it straight away. We were met at the villa and given the keys and shown around. Location is good in that it is based between Legian and Seminyak so we could easily cab to each location. It is down an alleyway with a 5 min walk to the street, but there is a little warung just up the alley and a couple of shops for drinks as well. Me and my three girlfriends travel each year. We enjoyed it and said we would likely stay again!

Cleaning could have been a bit better. The dishes were done, towels changed etc, but the surfaces were left with stuff everywhere and not tidied (having said that, they may not have wanted to touch our belongings or throw rubbish away in case). Some areas a little grubby due to the humidity and open-air environment, but I think quite normal for Bali villa. The man who met us at the villa did not speak good English. He basically just said no to everything we asked (ie when we asked if he knew of a chef to come and cook a meal he said no but later we found out that the villa could arrange that for us). The driver provided by the villa (and our cost) was not there when we arrived and it took a while to find him. Wasn't the end of the world because we have been to Bali multiple times, but I can imagine would have caused stress to first timers or anxious travelers.

Quiet and peaceful place, yet the beach and shops were nearby

A lot of trash around, but that's not the accommodation's fault

Easy access to the Supermarket and main road shops.

Paying for airport transfers, scooter hire through them was charged too much. It really wasn’t that clean and main room outdoor overhead shower was useless and not worth using.
