Bali bliss with all its glory

The place is in serious need of maintenance. The rot has damaged the whole roof in the bathroom and needed to be cleaned before use due to rotten timber from rain over night. 1 other issue was our base sheet on the bed was not changed once over 7 days.i know as a stain was present during our stay. The staff is lovely. The owner should get involved with the wellbeing of the property

Relaxing slice of paradise

Fantastic location and beautiful pool area. Perfect for a few days before moving elsewhere on the island. Sometimes felt like we were staying at our own private villa for a fraction of the price.

Villa’s need renovation

The location is great and main pool.

The villa we stayed in really needs maintenance. There were big gaps between wall and doors, mosquitos were in every night. There is mould in various places in the villa. We stayed in this villa two years ago and it has definitely not as good as it was. The villa is Q1. The master bed moved every time your turned, not the mattress the frame! Also breakfast has changed and not really value for money. In the past we had stayed at Artemis many times but I am not sure I would go back unless is was improved a lot. We paid $3k for 8 nights, which is more than I feel the villa is worth.

Relaxing stay not far from the beach.

The main/ pool area is beautiful and quiet tucked away from the roads & motorbikes. My room was spacious (superior room), clean and relaxed. Staff friendly and helpful. Short walk to the beach.

The bed was a bit firm, though this is common in Bali. Bathroom was a little tired but clean and all worked fine.

Excellent value for money for someone looking for a little luxury on a budget

The villa was great - I had my own spa pool which was functioning most of the time. Very comfortable including a kitchen room which I hardly used. Hot shower and bath.

Limited toiletries- could have done with big pots of shower gel. Also drinking water limited to two small bottles per day so go and get your own supplies from the supermarket. The restaurant could do with a revamp of its food options which are again a bit limited.

No bar - only Bintang’s sold and also no avocado’s for one of the breakfast options

Close to Everthing but nice and Quiet, Good Value for Money

Good location close to everything but tucked down an alleyway away from all the noise. Nice pool area, was very quiet - possibly because some of the villas have private pools. Big room, good ac, good tv with movie channels if you happen to get sick and need a day in bed. Bathroom is big and functional if a little dated - but good value for under $AUD100/night.

Attractive, lovely gardens and pool area. Dining area was spacious and the food was excellent. Unbelievably super king size bed very comfortable.

They didn’t clean or replace used glasses or cups in the room after use. Needs a few upgrades to plumbing shower heads and taps needed a good cleaning.

We had a wonderful time at Artemis Villa hotel. Beautiful surroundings, staff were so friendly especially our driver Kom! Breakfast and lunch is served outside by the pool and tasted delicious!

Our first Villa experience

This 2 bedroom villa was so amazing, the space was great.To have our own bath, shower & toilet in each room was great. The beds were extremely comfy. One king bed and 2 king singles.Beds have the power sockets and usb charging points attached to the side of the bed, which was great. TV in both rooms, mosquito coils supplied, and oil burners with lovely oils to put in them. Air con worked great in the bedrooms, there was air con in the living area and ceiling fans but they had to work alot harder as the morning sun beamed through the glass windows.This didn't bother us at all.We kept the doors shut to the bedrooms if we wanted them really cool and opened them up to let the air out to the living area.We found it very comfortable, compared to the outside heat. There was a great lounge setting in the living area to just chill. A large table with bench seating on either side. We had a few tiny ants inside most days, but again did not bother us. My daughter got mosquito bites a few nights, but then we started burning the mosquito coils in her room, and it was much better. The kitchen had a microwave, toaster oven, kettle, crockery,cutlery,pots & pans.Full size fridge with freezer, ice trays. The pool was lovely and deep and well maintained while we were there.It was nice to have it all to ourselves and somewhere to cool.off.Big fluffy pool towels which I loved. If you go to the beach, they lend you the blue towels from the front desk. The pool had the full morning sun and some shade in the afternoon.2 lounge chairs on the deck. The beautiful cleaning staff came in every day and tidied, changed towels, etc. We had breakfast ordered to the villa most mornings.There was a great choice of things to choose.It only cost under 100k pp($10AUD) The Villas are set back off the main rd. You walk down a small narrow rd to get there, but feel very safe walking around even at night, it's lit up. Also very quiet.

Very impressed with everything and everyone.

The location was perfect.! so close to all the action, but tucked away so you did not hear the traffic and the staff were super friendly and very helpful, there was nothing that was too much for them. Absolutely gracious and the premises were excellent. The Villa was clean and had everything we wanted and more. The pool area was perfect to relax in the middle of the day and at night. Overall just outstanding, this will be our destination when visiting Bali.

it was a lovely stay, due to flooding we weren’t able to stay in our original room but the staff were very accommodating and set us ip in separate apartments for the night and then upgraded our room to the villa with a pool which was gorgeous.
