The Boars Head Pub

This place is wonderful! It literally has everything and anything you may need. 19 of us had a fantastic weekend celebrating a big birthday. Darren was helpful and approachable leading up to our arrival and a great help when we needed him to get Sky TV working; someone was round within 10 minutes to sort it. Darren provided us with stock for the bar and organised Jerome’s team to come in and cook for all 19 of us one evening and I would recommend their services to anyone staying here. The kitchen is well equipped, the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, the bar/lounge/dining area are cosy and the games room provided us with lots of fun; I hope no one filmed us on karaoke! The town is beautifully quirky with a good selection of shops and pubs. If you have a celebration coming up I couldn’t think of a better place to spend it!

Had a great stay at The Boars Head recently. The fireplace was running constantly and the beers flowing as we celebrated a 30th Birthday together with friends and loved ones.

We loved our stay at The Boars Head! Having the whole pub and its facilities enabled us to kick our Christmas celebrations off in style!

Some of the kitchen utensils and equipment were not clean when we went to use them, but that was pretty minor. Everything else was well kept and very clean.

The novelty of having an entire pub to yourself makes this an unforgettable gateway. Spacious, well equipped yet homely. Dishwashers, ice machines, pool table, karaoke, hot tub….. they’ve thought of it all. Highly recommended! AND dog friendly!
